About Me

I am unique. Just like everybody else. I am highly mischievious with more curiousity then I know what to do with. I like to try everything and I live life as it comes.....which is usually a bit to fast for my liking.

I am very creative and artsy. I'm not the best artist, but I'm working on it, and I will definitely put my heart into any piece I work on.

I love nature, animals, reading, music, learning about different cultures, and traveling. My favorite color is blue. I collect quotes, journals, and stickers. I am an art supply junkie. I shoot competitive archery (recurve). I have worked with rhinos. I now work as a vet assistant. I am a complete bookworm.

I look forward to swapping!

Favorite Music

Changes every once in awhile. The only music I'm not a big fan of is rap and country.

Right now I'm into: instrumental, Michael Buble, Joe Hisaishi, Yoko Kanno, Rusted Root, Apocalyptica, Jason Mraz, Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, Flogging Molly, Lacuna Coil, Nick Drake, Reel Big Fish, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Yanni, Yo-Yo Ma, and Tchaikovsky.

Favorite Books

There are to many to list!

Bitten by Kelley Armstrong

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown

Jhereg by Steven Burst

Enders Game by Orson Scott Card

Sword of Truth Series (Wizards First Rule - first book) by Terry Goodkind

Memiors of a Geisha by Arthur Golden

Song of Ice and Fire Series (A Game of Thrones -first book) by George R.R. Martin

Never Cry Wolf,by Farley Mowat

Vanishing Act, Second Glance, and My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

The Winter King by Bernard Cornwell

A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore

A Year in Japan by Kate T. Williamson

An Illustrated Life by Danny Gregory (any artist would love this one!)

Favorite Movies

The Dark Knight, Howl's Moving Castle, Count of Monte Cristo, Treasure Planet, Secondhand Lions, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Boondock Saints, Ever After, Hero, 300, and Slumdog Millionaire

Favorite Crafts

I like to try everything. Mostly I just draw/sketch. Lately I have been taking a Watercolor class, and I love it. I enjoy making ATC's and handmade postcards. I've made chainmaille bracelets and necklaces. I've dabbled in jewelry, polymer clay, sewing, and knitting. Currently I'm reading up on how to handmake books.

Favorite Quotes

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you'll land among the stars.

Your life is an occasion. Rise to it.

Some people grumble that roses have thorns, I'm glad that thorns have roses.

Once the game is over, the king and pawns go back in the same box.

You're amazing, just in case no one mentions it today.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

Don't frown, you never know who is falling in love with your smile.

Randomness

My favorite smells are fall scents, cinnamon, pumpkin, campfire, and fresh baked bread.

My favorite sounds are laughter, music, raindrops, and love (yes, I think it has a sound, and a feel).

I love chai tea and cinnamon flavored tea. I I'm really not a flowery tea person - but I'll try anything once.

I am addicted to journals, I love them, I have more then I know what to do with.

I'm starting a garden, and it is doing well. I would love to have a bigger one, but my yard is not garden friendly.

I have two bunnies (Zoe and Nala). One is a mini-lop and one is a lionhead, and they can always make me smile. The lil demons....

I'm the type of person who is happier with plants, animals, and nature around.

I enjoy being with people, but I also need time to be with myself.

I love art, (I can't say this enough) especially creating it; it has help me become a better person and to center myself.

If you really want to get me to talk, bring up: archery, art, or animals.

I want to travel. Everywhere. I have a list of places I want to go, and I plan on making that dream a reality. My next stop is Japan or Ireland.

I love to sleep, curling up in bed is one of the most comfortable feelings in the world.

That's it for now, I'm sure I'll be inspired by other people's profiles and fill out more later. Have a good one!

Glad you enjoyed the journaling with a purpose package. So, who do you think was right regarding the Girl Scout trip? :)

Hi, thanks for your comment! We have a chihuahua with some boxer in his lineage, he is really beautiful!

Before I had cats and dogs I had bunnies, usually Holland lops. They're great!

I have NOT seen Ponyo yet, is it good?? I can't wait!

Thanks again for your comment. =)

First I have to compliment you on your designs and your photos, you are a great artist. I love art in all its forms and I love photography, drawing and design. Like you, I've also compiled some quotations; one of my favorites is "Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage, And then is heard no more. It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing." Macbeth(William Shakespeare)
Hope to swap with you soon! Happy Swapping ^^

Hi! I enjoyed reading your profile. I have a bunny too...a netherland dwarf named Fiji. He's quite the character and is very sweet. Once when I was sick with strep throat he climbed up onto my pillow, put one paw on my head, and started licking my face. Then he fell asleep next to me! Such a sweet little guy! I will email you a picture!

You sound like someone who I would like to meet! Working with rhinos sounds like a blast, and being a vet assistant sounds like a lot of fun too.

I'm also a journaling addict. I love handmaking my own journals - it really gives that extra fun personal feel.

Have a great day!

Hi, you left a comment on my profile so I thought I would try to answer all your questions. I created the ATC profiles on a word processing sheet and then I just run them off and cut them out. If you email me I will send you my form and you can change it so it has your information and use it. I use pitt waterproof pens. They work on various types of paper and dont run or smear when watercolor is added. vrobison@usd211.org Thanks Vicki
