Hello!! My name is Shelaine, but most people call me Lainey! I am 40 and mother of 4 (ages 22, 20, 15, and 9) and have been in a committed relationship with my boyfriend for almost 12 years. I am currently attending college and earning a degree in the field of Behavioral Science.

I love doing things to make others smile and sending happy mail! I am not the best crafter, but I find it is relaxing.I love trying different things and creating things to share with others. I am not interested in competing or comparing, but just sharing our abilities with each other as a way to spread joy.

My favorite colors are all shades of brown, aqua, gray, and starting to like navy blue as welll.

Things that make me happy and make me smile include:

*inspirational things - I am a Christian. Life can be hard and discouraging at times. Anything that is positive and inspirational is always welcomed!

• pens - I love all kinds of pens. I love Sharpie pens and would love Coleto pens and refills (0.3 or 0.4) . Even though I have these named, it does not mean that I will not accept anything else. I am always happy to receive any.

*seasonal decor - I am a seasonal decorator in my home. Anything related to the season or holiday!

^Christmas - it is my favorite holiday! I love wrapping gifts best, but I love all aspects of the holiday and could plan all year for it.

*hot chocolate - my favorite thing to drink in the winter. I love all kinds.

*tea - I am starting to really like hot tea as well. I have tried a few different ones, but I am open to trying new ones. Perhaps share your favorite kind with me! I like Bengal Spice, Pumpkin Spice, and Earl Grey mostly as of right now.

*baskets - One of my favorite things. Both cute and functional.

*candles/wax - I have a warmer and constantly using tarts or cubes. I love all kinds of smells..floral, fruity, and ones that smell like baked goods.

*planner - it is a creative outlet for me. I love using all kinds of pens, stickers, washi, post its, you name it! I love color. I have a desk sized planner (5.5 x 8.5). Wanting to try the happy planner. Post its and list pads are something I use religiously.

*hand lettering- I am really starting to get into this.

*cutesy socks - I have always been into colorful socks! Seasonal, fuzzy, and/or cute.

*cute mugs - gotta have a cute mug to drink my hot chocolate in, right?? :-)

*I scrapbook, but recently started Project Life. So I like anything dealing with it or Simple Stories

*Anything handmade/homemade - if someone takes the time to make me something, I am going to appreciate it. I love to make things or do crafty things to make people smile. I know that at times hard work goes into different projects and if someone did that just for me, there would be no way I could be unappreciative. I love to see the different things people come up with.

*journals - I love journals. I love cute journals to write in or just to take notes or whatever.

*Disney! We have been bitten by the Disney bug. My family and I are planning a trip at this time and plan to visit WDW in October of this year. Usual things for me would be anything to help with completing my scrapbook album -Project Life/Project mouse cards (or anything similar), diecuts, stickers, washi, paper, etc.Anything that is Disney Halloween or Halloween in general, but not anything scary. I love the Hocus Pocus show there. My favorite character is Olaf, but I also love the characters from Finding Nemo/Dory, The Lion King, and Toy Story. I would love anything Disney related!

• milk chocolate! I think most women love chocolate LOL I love Dove chocolate covered cranberries and Lindt chocolate

I love music. When I am having a good day, when I am having a bad day, when I can't find the right words to say, in need of encouragement or anything of that nature, music has a way of touching my soul. I love all kinds of music.

I do not really have a favorite book. I love anything that will help me be the best person I can be. An author that I like is Emilie Barnes. I also like Stormie Omartian and Beth Moore. I also love organizational books because it is something I am striving to be more of - organized!!

I like Chicago Fire, This is Us, Law and Order: SVU, Grey's Anatomy, The Voice, Chicago Med, and Golden Girls

I love scrapbooking/Project Life. I do not do just one specific thing. I like to try different things.
