Favorite Crafts

I have been stitching for about 20+years, I love to read, knit, crochet, and sometimes sew.But Cross stitching is my favourite. I am also a TVaholic, what else is there to do when you stitch?. My fav colours are purples, blues, reds, . I like deep rich tones and I just hate with a passion orange. I am into florals and architecture right now and am currently stitching Starry Night With Tardis, Cross stitching is my fav but I also knit , crochet and sew (used to sew all my own clothes but burned out, so I dont do much of that) I also love blackwork and enjoy putting together 3D items. (biscornu -both regular and 15 sided).

About Me

I love to read especially since I got my Sony reader... Music is not something I have been drawn too, as I am hearing impaired. I have a really eclectic taste in music, but my favs are oldies, 60's 70's and some 80's.And some classical. Just as long as I can understand what the words are. And these days, is a difficult task for anyone hehe. I am handicaped and use a walker with arthritis all over., Stitching keeps my hands limber..

About Me

I am origianally from the north of England ( Chester-le-street. Co. Durham) and have lived in Canada since I was 10. I really enjoy swapping, just love the collection I have built up and hope to add more to it.

Favorite things

TV aholic here, love to watch. Especially sci-fi. (Stargate, StarTrek,etc.) Also enjoy reality TV. Survivor, Amazing race, Project Runway, (but NOT the batchelor--too tacky, even for me)Food network competitions are also great too-Top Chef etc. I also love :-- -purple--reds and blues , sage green.. -silver -castles -hedgehogs I hate cutsie,(Just Nan Etc) orange and browns (so boring)
