I'm Back :) For Now

Hi there! My name is Lauren, I'm currently 22 and live in the UK. I love letter writing and found this site in a google search, and it looked cool so I signed up! Can't wait to start swapping :)

I'm pagan. So as you can imagine I like being outside, being surrounded by the Earth. But Fire is my favourite element, whenever I'm near it I just feel ALIVE!

Evanescence is my all time favourite band, but I also like Nightwish, Within Temptation, Pink and Taylor Swift too. But then I also have things like Katherine Jenkins on my iPod, Vivaldi, Beyonce, No Doubt (before Gwen lost her sparkle) and "new age" music

But I'm starting to like the mainstream pop that's playing on the radio :O haha and Micheal Buble (Micky Bubble) is ultimate friday afternoon music :)

I am a huge Britney fan

Eragon is my favourite book. I tend to go for a fantasy based genre, I like the teen vampire books that are getting churned out at the moment but HATED twilight. PC Cast is a brilliant writer, especially in her Goddess of Parthalon series. The HUNGER GAMES!!!!!!

Mills and Boon books are my guilty pleasure!

The best pagan book I've read was Thea Sabin's "Wicca for Beginners" it probably wasn't meant to be funny but I laughed the whole way through!

Disney rocks my socks ;)

I also like chick flicks like Honey, Save the last dance, 10 things I hate about you, 27dresses etc

I loved the film that Heath Ledger was in about a knight... Think it was called A Knights Tale... LOL

Glee, Family Guy, Vampire Diaries, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Super Size v Super Skinny, CSI (LV), American Dad, Pramface (you should check it out, only 6 episodes but SO funny!!)

I love writing (if thats a craft?) and am into scrapbooking too. As a photographer I like to get a simple album and then cover it in stickers, quotes and material so that it makes it extra special. I have made these little albums as gifts for people before :) Interested in card making too :)

I enjoy colouring too, if that could be considered a craft... Mainly Disney Princesses, fairies, gothy things, dresses etc

I'm getting quite into jewelry making at the moment :) So far have made a couple of bracelets and a few pairs of earrings :)

Need to actually LEARN to sew then I can start making the sentimental quilt/blanket thing I've been thinking about, to pass down, you get the picture :)

The colours red, pink, deep purple (think cadbury) and black (I KNOW it's not a REAL colour!!) Star gazing My horoscopes (often accurate, and I read them at the end of the day so they can't influence my decisions) Books - the dusty smell of the old ones and the velvety pages and the smell of brand new ones and the sound of the spine cracking for the first time :) The moon, fairies, dragons, crystals, pentacles, tarot cards and other "witchy" things I love stickers, they make me feel like a kid again :) Spending an hour in a card shop laughing at all the jokes on them, the staff call me "the crazy laughing lady" ;) Silky fabrics and tassles (its a random thing!) Rubber ducks, and ducks in general
