LouT

Iam single, but was widowed young with 2 small children. I stayed single because I felt that someone else might add to the chaos I felt raising 2 kids alone. So I have been single almost 20 years now, raised 2 children, alone and pretty well. Now that phase of my life is over, and I am beginning to find other outlets. I do enjoy writing, the snail mail is great,and since I also enjoy stationary, stamps etc., I thought the pen pal idea was great. Also I love cooking, but really the enjoyment is having people over and enjoying the company. I also enjoy pretty kitchenware, but mostly stick to dollar store finds. My drink is tea.....I used to drink a lot of coffee, but somehow my taste changed, and I start every morning off with a cup of tea & honey. I do work full time as a clerk at City Hall, where I have been a longtime employee. I have a beautiful dog... she is a twelve year old shephard/lab mix. She is my faithful companion!!
