i'm amy =) i'm a girly girl. happily married to my very own air force guy. we have 3 beautiful children and a cute lil shih tzu. we're currently in japan, but who knows for how long or where we'll be next. that's the crazy life of a military family for ya! =) i love to cook and bake. i do pretty much anything arts & crafts related. i recently taught myself to knit and I just got my first sewing machine, so i'm teaching myself how to sew. i'm on my way to making pretty clothes. loooove recons. if you ever want to do a private swap let me know!

i love anything by Lois Lowry. My favorite is The Giver. I also love Gary Paulsen books. Hatchet is my favorite by him. I read mostly fiction books. i love Zane, Eric Jerome Dickey,Alisa Valdez-Rodriguez, i absolutely adore all the Shel Silverstein books! this list could go on forever :)

I listen to a little bit of everything. right now Amy Winehouse, The Ramones, and The Beatles are the most played artists in my itunes, but that changes often. I listen to a lot of soul and classic rock, r&b, punk, etc. shoot, i'll give anything a listen!

only things i can think of that i'd rather not receive is religious stuff (don't dislike, just don't really want) tho i really would love at least one incredibly beautiful copy of the bible. i'd also prefer not receiving anything racist or prejudiced. i don't knock anyones choices or lifestyles, but i'd rather if they're not pushed on me. oh, and i'm not much of an anime fan.

I live in Japan, but postage rates are the same as if you were shipping to California. I have an APO address. that means u just put APO as the city and AP as the state. The only thing extra is a simple little customs form. so no worries if you're in the US =)

i left my bead and button collection with my little sister and now i'm regretting it because i can't find any good button and bead sources =( i love colorful, bold, big, small..anything! i desperately need about 6 big matching red buttons for my pirate outfit.

good fabric! there's not a great place for fabric shopping around here. i need some jersey and stretchy knit fabric for my new clothes-making hobby.

thrift store clothing good for cutting up and sewing into something new and wearable.
