I am a young wife and mother who lives in middle America after growing up in California. I homeschool all four of my children so my home is my sphere! My Catholic faith is hugely important to me as is creating, sleeping and working hard to make life a special occasion. I love me some adjectives, prefer my language salty and appreciate a word well spoken. I wanted to be a history teacher when I grew up but now I think I want to be an artist or comedienne or personal shopper. . . OR someone who can afford a maid and a personal stylist.

Emma, Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Predgudice by Jane Austen. L.m. Montgomery's books - Anne of Green Gables and such, especially Anne of the Island, The Story Girl and Kilmeny of the Orchard. Louis de Wohl is another favorite author and his The Spear and Set All Aflame are ones I go back to again and again. Recently, Adam Corolla's In Fifty Years We'll all Be Chicks made me laugh until I cried.

Where to begin?!

Sewing - I use all kinds of fabrics but really enjoy different textures and vintage fabrics

Crochet - I use all kinds of yarn.

Paper crafts - I LOVE paper and gravitate towards saturated colors, vintage and sparkly.

Jewelry making - I don't know if you could ever have too many beads. . .
