I am a stay at home mom and the wife of a cross country truck driver. I keep the "home fires burning" while he is out making a living (suddenly I hear an old Ronnie Milsap song playing in my head lol)

I have a son that is going into 8th grade this year and I teach 7th grade science and beginning computer classes at a homeschool co-op. I am also the stage manager for our Drama Troupe. BUT THE ONLY DRAMA THAT I ENJOY IS THE KIND ON A STAGE!

I plan to spend the summer redecorating my home and sprucing up my garden area. In August I will return to college to complete my diploma in business administration.

I love a rustic decor (cabin style) but I also like a soft feminine shabby chic style. I have a weakness for lighting -I love to go to IKEA and check out all the cute lamps and lighting. I have lots of cute accent lights but I am running out of plugs for them all lol.

I enjoy making quilts and really wish that I was better at it - I would love to take a class in quilting as well as all the other "old crafts" - basket weaving, rug hooking, chair caning, etc. Sometimes I wish I lived way out in the country on a working farm.

My favorite crafts are painting, sewing and embroidery. I have a great respect for paper artists but it just is not my thing.

My favorite colors are: earth tones - and jewel tones. I'm not much on pastels.

I like florals, lighthouses, star and check patterns, americana, & all kinds of crafts! I love to make totes, purses and aprons. I enjoy swapping cool ink pens, dish towels and potholders.

I like fruit scents and would enjoy swapping scented candles and incense

I have no desire to swap ATC's, FB's , or tags. They just aren't my thing but more power to ya if they are yours!

I love receiving postcards from all over the world!

I am looking forward to getting involved in the swap-bot world and making some new online friends.

I like all kinds of music and my listening choices depend upon the mood that I am in.

Some of my favorite groups are the Eagles, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, The Charlie Daniels Band, Alabama, and the Atlanta Rythym Section.

I also like to listen to Country, Native American and Celtic music.

I am an avid reader and enjoy the Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich, Anything by Nora Roberts and Sherrilyn Kenyon. I have recently started reading Amanda Quick and Justine Dare. Heather Graham and Maggie Shayne are also favorites!

One of my favorite things is to stop by the local library and hit their book sale!! Books for 50 cents is my kinda deal!

I am also one of those people who prefers having an actual book in my hand to reading on an electronic device like a Kindle. It's just not the same to me.

Favorite TV shows are: Franklin and Bash, The Glades, In Plain Sight, Hawaii 5-0, Hot in Cleveland, Criminal minds, NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles & Memphis Beat
