I'm a curious mother of three spunky girls (E. is 8, F. is 6 and C. is soon to be 5) who read about this in a friend's blog comment. I've been looking for a creative outlet that feels productive for me and educational for my children. I plan to share this with them in hopes that it will color their world in a new way. So much of our lives seems inescapably manufactured and branded (something I need to work on), and I'm attracted to this because it sounds like a more organic and vital exchange. And what girl doesn't like fun surprises in the mail?
Sooo, my hope is that you'll show us the world! Send us something that shows us where you live, places you've been, how people live, what kids there do...whatever moves you. I'm interested in growing their sense of place and connectedness in the world. Be a push-pin on our map!
