I love receiving mail. Good mail... and I'll respond to those who also like to receive fun in their mailboxes too.

I entertain myself with various types of paper art activities.....Journals, Mailart, Scrapbooks, Cards, Tags, Postcards, Bookmaking ...It depends on the day :) Almost all of my paper art projects involve some type of rubberstamping. I love my stamps! Not the cutesy ones though....just not my style. I used to be part of a design team for an international stamp company, but I gave that up years ago.

I'm a magazine junkie. Fashion, Art, homemaking, foreign, current event, vintage...you name it. I love magazines.

I'm not into "cutesy". I like vintage, graphic art, collage and urban art. I don't have any pets. I'm not really an animal person. I do have a love/hate relationship with birds. I love images of birds and the freedom and beauty they represent. In real life, however, I find their beady little eyes and sharp beaks to be quite frightening.

I am a wife and mother of three. My family is very important to me. My husband is an aerospace quality engineer. I have two boys in college. They go to different universities and live on campus. One son is a math geek stats major who likes 80's music and my other son is a party boy genetics major who's into indie music. Both love video games, football, sandwiches and typical "guy" stuff. My daughter is an extremely talented portrait artist who will be attending college next year for her BFA in painting and art administration. She's always needing new tubes of oil paint. She's a fashionista Type-A individual who, like her mother, adores fine chocolate. Don't we all? :)

It's great having so many cool people in my life.

I seriously dislike purple.
