Hi there! I'm Misti! I'm a 30-something living in Austin with my husband, our Italian Greyhound Tremont and various foster animals as needed.

I enjoy trying new things (foods, drinks, adventures, experiences!), karaoke with friends, art journaling, Project Life, herbalism, using my Filofax to organize my life, making lists, taking pictures of beer bottle caps, Art, nail polish, crystals, mushrooms and gnomes, Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab perfume oils and Doctor Who, for starters. :)

I use a Personal Cover Story and a Kingfisher Blue Metro to plan my life. A Pocket Lavender Metro for my 365/30 Filofax FB group lists and a Pocket Black Baroque for my Herbalism studies.

I use 2 Zebra Prefill 4-color pens with the .4 refills and 1 Pentel Sliccies 3-color pen also with the .4 refills. I also love the Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen (I have purple, orange, pink, green), the Pilot Plumix Fountain Pen bodies (I have blue and purple) with the Pilot Namiki Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges (I have purple, green, black,red), and the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Maica Gel Ink Pen (I have black, light blue). I love fountain pens of all sorts, especially with unique ink colors. And really, pens of all sorts. I've wanted a Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto 4 or 5-color pen (in clear/white or pink) for a while now. Project Life/Basic Grey Capture/Scrapbooking - I prefer a modern clean look to the more traditional, cute feel. I have the Sunshine kit and would love the Kraft or Honey kit. I have a Gossamer Blue PL subscription. I love washi tape, wood veneer/enamel/glittered/sequined/cork embellishments. Basically everything that Freckled Fawn or Studio Calico makes!

Crochet - I crochet blankets and cutest stuff mostly (like small animals, food, candy, Twinky Chan type stuff)

Gardening - I love tending my herbs and trying to grow tomatoes in the Texas heat with no shade in my backyard! ;)

Art Journaling/Collage/Junk Journals - love all sorts of ephemera, especially maps, bank ledgers, alcohol ads, interior design ads, artistic design shoots, women's faces/bodies. Love spray paint, acrylic or gouache paint, glitter, texture medium, mod podge, encaustic supplies.

Sewing - I love vintage fabrics, old sheets and novelty prints (rotary phones, typewriters, bikes, cupcakes, deer, mushrooms, candy, gnomes, donuts, things like that). Modern bright floral patterns, patterns that mix florals, animals, food, etc. I love fabric designed by Anne Marie Horner, Amy Butler, Heather Ross, Michael Miller, JOEL DEWBERRY, cynthia rowley

Herbalism/DIY health and beauty - supplies (essential oils, clay, carrier oils, clays) are always welcome. Can provide a list.

Nail Polish - especially indie brands. I have a massive collection and have a wish list and catalogue of all I already own I can provide.

Filofax/planner organization and decoration - I love washi tape, stickers, list stamps, gel pens, fountain pens, dashboards. I expand more in my filofax section above.

Reading - books about herbalism, crystals, magic, kitchen or cottage-witchery. Books about Architecture of the 1920s, 50s, 60s. Fiction: fantasy, erotica, romance, paranormal, a big fan of Diana Gabaldon, Steven King, Anne Rice, Laurel K Hamilton.

Architecture and Design and Art - 50s, 60s, Space Age, mid century modern, Googie, Populux, Tiki, Art Deco, Art Deco Moderne, Streamline, Pop Art, Modern Art, Art Nouveau, Neon, Russian communist architecture and art, Frank Lloyd Wright, Anne Brigman.

Perfume and Perfume Oil - I have a huge Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab collection and also enjoy Cocoa Pink, For Strange Women, Violette Market. For perfume, I'm a huge Jo Malone fan. I have lists of all the scents I own and wish lists.

Tea and Coffee - big Adagio tea fan as well as trying new things. Not a fan of chocolate, overly creamy, caramel or other dessert-type teas. Or licorice for that matter. Also not the biggest Rooibos or Lapsang Souchong tea fan unless it's really unique. Love floral (not rose), herbal and fruity teas. Also Earl Grey (love trying unique blends or new takes on this standard), Darjeeling, most black teas. I also love trying unique blends with non traditional ingredients or interpretations.

Gnomes - red hat, blue coat, I love gnomes!

Mushrooms - traditional red topped with white spots or the 70s green and yellow or Cath Kidsons take on them and everything in between. Except for those mushroom hemp necklaces. Not my scene. The Sears Roebuck Merry Mushroom canisters are currently in my kitchen. I'm still trying to hunt down the clock and spice rack.

Deer - vintage, brass, flocked, stone, kawaii - tiny or big!

Matryoshka dolls - especially stickers, used to decorate housewares, pens, journals, ephemera, jewelry

Terrariums/tiny gardens - I love decor for my tiny worlds! Especially deer, gnomes and mushrooms. :) I also love vintage planters, the weirder shaped the better. And terrarium art or terrarium-themed paper, cards, decor is awesome.

Vintage Pinup or Nudie pictures/magazines/figurines - turn of the century through the 60s.

Pink Flamingos - currently in my yard! Love them in jewelry, journals, pens, papers, ephemera

Succulents - both the actual plants and when used as the design on journals, jewelry, art, decor.

Doctor Who - big 10th Doctor fan. Favorite companion is Rose. Not big on the Weeping Angels. Love the Daleks. I have lots of tshirts, a TARDIS bath towel, piggy bank, travel mug, water bottle, and ring. I love jewelry, house decor.

Souvenir plates from the 50s and 60s - not ashtrays or trays, just the plates please! :) I've got a big list of ones I'm looking for and ones I have.

Brass - candlesticks, plates, statues, bowls, art, etc. I love brass.

Crystals - I really love opal, quartz of any kind, selenite, faceted Swarovski-type sun catchers

Not a fan of:

-Anything with religious themes, crosses, angels, inspirational quotes of any kind, etc

-Anything with a kid-theme, school theme, Disney, etc; My husband and I are happily childfree.

-Black Licorice. Just please no.

-Berry or 'clean' scented-anything. Especially Candles

-Rustic decor, country-themed decor, Americana decor.
