Hi! Name is Stephanie. I'm a twenty something living in Austin, TX with my husband and dog. I love Austin, I just wish it weren't so hot sometimes!

I am lucky enough to be able to write childrens books for a living. I love my job and can't dream of doing anything else. I'm also a new practicing witch with lots to learn. :)

Likes: Dachshunds, reading, books, journals, plants, herbs, tea, coffee (ground, bean, or kcup), sea glass, beach items, photography, vintage kitchenware, vintage clothing, trees, owls

Dislikes: watermelon, green tea (a sin, I know), avocados, monkeys, summer, hot weather,

Favorite Music

Coldplay, Blue October, 70s rock. Basically anything but country, rap, and pop music.

Favorite Books

Oh gosh, most anything! I mostly read Young Adult and Middle Grade books, but I do like the occasional adult sci-fi/fantasy. Harry Potter is probably my favorite all time series. No romance or fiction.

Favorite Movies

The Neverending Story You've Got Mail Lord of the Rings (all) Star Wars (all) Harry Potter (all, Prisoner of Azkaban being a fav) (sadly I don't watch a lot of movies!)

Favorite Television

Grey's Anatomy House Hunters (and anything on HGTV) Firefly (I don't watch a lot of TV, sorry!)

Favorite Crafts

Anything involving upcycling and paper crafts. I've tried to learn how to knit and crochet but I can't wrap my mind around either. Oops!
