I am a stay at home mother to 3 rambunctious boys (ages Richard 8, Joesph 8, and Austin 5). I have been with my soulmate, an EMT/Firefighter for almost 9 years now. I am presently taking my last class for my Healthcare Administration/Medical Records degree. Slowly but surely I am finally getting to where I want to be in life, aside from the two pleasures in life I already have (my children and my husband).
I enjoy crafting of all sorts. Beading and paper crafts in general take the lead. I love going to my mailbox and seeing mail I enjoy rather than just bills. It lights up my trip out to the black box on the side of the road - lol. I love to make homemade envies, decos, matchboxes & ATCs! My favorite color is any and all shades of green. My favorite color combination is either green/black, pink/black, or brown/baby blue.
SMOKERS - If you and I are swapping and you or someone in your house smokes, please email me and let me know. Although it does not bother me personally, I have a son who is very sensitive to cigarette smoke, and I will need to open the package outside in case the smell is too strong when first opened. Please do not be offended, I just have to be careful for my son. Thank you ahead of time. =]
If you do not receive something from me that I was supposed to send, please please please let me know. I will be happy to recreate and resend!
Don't be worried to send me something. If I can not find a use for it I will pass it on to someone else who I think may be able to enjoy it.
Also, because of the cost of shipping now-a-days, I usually only sign up for USA/Canada swaps. However, if you are located internationally and interested in swapping with me, shoot me an email an we can work something out! =]
I LOVE swapping and always put alot of time and effort into my swaps. If I add somthing to your package it's because I think you might like it, not because I'm expecting a heart. What I do expect is acknowledgement; that you have at least received your swap. You may not love it - or even believe that we have the same definition of "art"... But I HOPE you will and I guarantee that I will try my hardest so that you WILL LOVE it. So PLEASE take a moment and RATE!
To my partners, I PROMISE to rate as soon as I receive your swap! If I have not rated you it's because I haven't received anything. But I am human and may forget so if you are concerned PLEASE send me a PM and I will rate ASAP!! Everyone deserves to be rated!!♥
The one thing I was hoping for on this site was to never be flaked upon.. and to not have to make this category.. but unfortunately, I've had to! blah!
@Bamagirl2010 Flaked on Ultimate Year of Happy Mail #1, Resolutions
In January 2011 I practically dropped off the face of the earth. I was assigned for 2 swaps.. and due to multiple reasons found myself putting them off, putting them off, and putting them off. At the beginning of the year I almost lost a $15,000 deposit we had put on a house. Once we finally got that solved and were able to move into our new home, medical issues arose, followed by other personal issues - and ultimately Swap-bot became the LAST thing on my mind. But I am not making excuses.
However... I am back full force. I have both swaps ready to go but ran into an issue. Swap #1 I haven't been able to get a response back from my partner as they haven't been online since Thanksgiving week. Swap #2, after speaking with the host my partner apparently has since flaked on them, and the person who angeled for my spot has also since flaked. The host advised me they didn't feel it was right for me to send to either party.. but instead offer to angel for someone else. I am in the process of searching for an angel spot. =/
I know at first it will be hard for me to get back into swapping because of my "flaking" in December/January. But I promise to all of you out there - Flaking is NOT my thing and it will NOT happen again.

Hey girl, thanks for your nice comment on my profile. I added you! Hope you can get your 1 ratings removed soon, or at least get lots of good ratings from now on to bring up your overall rating. Welcome back! :)
I accidentally erased your comment from my profile :( I like your 'swap-bot' age thingy. :) The letters on there were rub-ons from a little stack of rub-ons I received in a swap awhile back. I think they have them at Michael's but I'm not 100% sure
Hello! I am one of your partners from the Read my Profile and post a comment swap.
I ' liked reading your profile. Which courage you have to take care of your children while studying, that was still have not to be easy. I watched your photos flickr, what what you made is attractive, I find funny your ATC with the pig..
Happy New Year for you and yours..
(..^_^..)
Hi, this is Ozias commenting for the profile comment swap. You're getting a degree in health care administration? My friend's mom has a degree in that! But, she couldn't find a job because all the hospitals wanted an administrator with experience, it kind of makes me wonder how they get experience in the first place if they can't get a job at all. Well, I guess that's called an intern. I'll be starting college this year, I'm thinking about getting my degree in journalism, but, I'm still not sure. You like scrapbooking too? That must take some time, but I bet it looks really cool when it's all said and done! Have a great day!
(The "Read my profile, post a comment Swap") Hi! Nice to meet you :) I really love how you have yours set up. I'm a newbie myself. I thought I had a rowdy time enough here with just my two boys...couldn't imagine adding in a 3rd. Mine are 2 and 4. I am sure you are the same way in thinking that we wouldn't change or give it up for the world tho, huh? You sound like an amazingly sweet lady and since I am still new, I got some ideas on how to make my profile look less cluttered (I will not copy you, I promise). Nice to meet you, have a great week! ~ Tara ~
Hello Callie! =) Welcome to swap-bot! I hope you are very well and enjoying swapping here :) I'm Ezgi from Turkey and I'm writing you for "read my profile and post a comment" swap. It's nice to see you're a student like me at the moment x) It must be difficult when you have 3 children! The only thing I have to do is my own laundry -I cant even cook but I think it is hard enough :D So congratulations!! :) Wishing you and your family all the best in 2011, Ezgi
thanks for the comment! Curiosity is more the reason for the desire of pen friends in this area.. I have someone in the Philippines, and in South Korea, so why not more from the region? But I am open to anyone requesting me for a pen friend >_<
