Hello, I'm Sophie!

I'm 37 and live in New Hampshire in the United States. I'm a mom to 2 boys (one preteen and one teen), and 3 cats (Rei, Victor, and Jabberwocky).

I work at a wholesale nursery and love plants (I am lucky enough to have a sunroom at home to support my plant collection!).

My other job is co-running a burlesque troupe, through which I perform burlesque, aerial dance (mainly lyra) and bellydance. I also teach dance in the evenings.

My other passion is cooking, for which I recently opened an Instagram page for. I mainly cook Japanese and Korean cuisine, but have been branching off into Vietnamese as well. I also like to try old recipes I find as well.

I listen to a lot of K-Pop and J-Pop, lately with a focus on BlackPink, Taemin's solo work, and being stuck on Big Bang.

I also really like most heavy metal (Durge Metal, and Nordic Folk Metal are some of my favorites there).

I love punk music (Stiff Little Fingers, The Distillers, Ducky Boys, Bruisers, etc)

Also, a lot of folk music (Irish folk music being the most commonly played.

I read a LOT of manga...probably too much manga. I am currently keeping up with The Promised Neverland, Attack on Titan, and Boku no Hero Academia..although I have mixed feelings on the last one. My favorite manga series I have read too many times are Tokyo Ghoul (original and Re:), Ouran High School Host Club, Mushi-Shi, and Durarara!!!.

I also read a lot of novels as well, gearing toward fantasy and historical fiction. Some favorites being: Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones The Winter King by Bernard Cornwell The Mists of Avalon - Marion Zimmer Bradley We, The Drowned -Carsten Jensen Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte I also love Harry Potter, Song of Fire & Ice and most books by Kurt Vonnegut

I watch a lot of anime, both movies and TV shows. My favorites include:

I also watch a lot of fantasy shows and movies like Game of Thrones, Supernatural, The Twilight Zone, and The X Files
