POSTOFFICE ISSUES:
I don't know about the rest of the USA but in my small California town we are having major issue with our mail. Its a hit or miss if they pick up out going mail, same times they say something it delivered when its not arrived yet then it arrives a week later. I get a dump of mail at once then nothing for a few days.
WITH THAT BEING SAID I TAKE IN CONSIDERATION THE ISSUES THAT I'M HAVING AND RATE ACCORDING TO RECEIVING IT. NOT TO WHEN ITS SENT OUT.
Now with that being said I normal reach out if I don't receive it in 30 days from date due to be mail. If I receive no response I send a second message then rate according based on response.
August 19, 2024 Life has been busy but in a good way. Work has been hectic with these new COVID variants. My grandmother is back in California which makes us all so happy. She is the reason for my love of snail mail/happy mail/mail art. I have dinner with her and my mom at least twice a week if not more, being close and present during these times is important.

Our sweet family dog passed away. To say it was devastating is an understatement, our family is heartbroken. She has been part of our family for 16 years and my stepdads best friend.

Hello Friends, The last few months have been crazy with my grandchild having her first birthday, family vacation, major surgery for myself and college starting for my last child. We have been super busy and with my scheduled surgery date on the calendar I decided to take a few months off from swapping just to make sure I was present in my life. I am back, slowly of course, I will be working from home the next month until I'm released back to work. I plan on participating in a few swaps to stretch my legs and get back into a routine.

My entire family (6 of us live together) got COVID19 new variant. out of the 19 family member that went to this baby shower for my nephew 9 of us got covid. One of them is my granddaughter of 8 months, to say its been a touch two weeks does not compare. I was ahead on my swaps but did not mail two on time, I have since directly message my partner letting them know they were mail late and why.
Everyone is starting to feel better except for the baby and my mom, who I just found out fainted at home alone. Talk about being stressed.
Please reach out I will check in every other day as I start to feel like myself again. Please be safe out there COVID is coming back sadly.
August 2, 2023 Hello Fellow Swappers,
Life has been good. My granddaughter Adelina is growing currently 6 1/2 months old and crawling. I keep asking time to slow down. My adult kids are doing well for the most part my middle son and I both have some medical procedures coming up so this mama's stress level is a bit higher then normal.
*******************************************************The USPS is still working on getting things back to normal but unfortunately the mail is not the way it used to be, sometimes it take no time to get somewhere and other it takes weeks. no rhyme or reason. I know we all are dealing with this so please note I do not rate based on of post date unless its weeks from the swap date. I have put items in the mail and they either do not get picked up on time or they don't post date until a later date which is a tad bit annoying but what can we do.
12/15/2022 I’M GRANDMOTHER!!! I was able to win these the most amazing thing on earth. Mom and baby are doing great, home now trying to rest when they can. That being send please be patient with me, I’ve reached out to everyone about sending out.
08/22/2022 Hello Happy Swappers.. I hope everyone is doing good. I will be having surgery next week which will more then likely take me off the computer for 2 week possible more. I'm hoping it won't be that long, I don't know if I can be away from swapping that long. I have completed all my swaps and will rate all the mail I have already received this week. So If you haven't gotten rated yet please send me a message. Everyone take care and happy swapping.
06/12/2022 This past weekend was another overload of emergencies. My father inlaw had emergency surgery and ended up in a coma, he lives 2 hours away so my husband and I went to go be with him. Then while I was there found out that my niece, nephew, brother, and dad have COVID. My dad is 70 so my stress level to say the least is high. I reached out to my swap partners to let them know I was a day late in mailing. Thank you all for your understanding. I hope one day most of our lives are calm and uneventful. Take Care everyone and hug your loved ones.
05/16/2022 Update my entire family got COVID, 2 1/2 years into the pandemic. First, it was my son and daughter-in-law (still at home), then my mom and stepdad, and now my niece. I took care of everyone except my niece with her mom. I'm proof that if you wear a mask and wash your hand you can keep it at bay. Needless to say I'm exhausted. All swaps have gone out on the day due but they may have got to the mailbox late for pick up. I'm very behind in rating, but I promise I will catch up.
thank you for all your understandings.
01/23/2022 Nothing will ever be normal again, but I've come to accept this rollercoaster and get back to snail mail and swaps. as you can see the last time I was on here I met all my swaps just trying to get back to a 4.99 ratings.
9/23/2020 My life had other plans for me this past year, nothing seems to be the same but I'm back on the road to find what the new normal is. I've reached out to every single person for swaps I missed and will continue to make things right. I need to get back into swapping it brought so much joy to my life and I need a little joy right now.
Thank you for reading and Happy Swapping.

for: National Author's Day - Nov 1
For the past two years, I have been listening to audiobooks more than reading a book. It allows to be "read" more books.
The last book I listened to was "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides
I am currently listening to "A Most Clever Girl" by Stephanie Marie Thornton
One of my favorite authors as a child was Judy Blume.

Take care!

Four foods that I can't live without. I've decided to list mine Breakfast: Coffee is one thing I have to have. Sometimes I don't eat until lunch. As long as I have my cup of coffee.
Lunch: My go-to food is a salad. I usually have Caesar salad with chicken or just a quick chicken salad.
Dinner: A quick pasta dish always hits the spot.
Snack: my favorite snack is fruit—watermelon, oranges, or pineapple.
