My name is Nicole and I live in a very small rural community. Think of Mayberry and your picturing a metropolis compared to my town. I have a large farm and lately I realize I have too much time on my hands to craft and cook, but nobody to share my creative wares with.

I'm a big traveler and love to see different places. I love out of the way, cozy places that are not big tourist attractions. If you have places I should check out please tell me, and pictures are always appreciated. Make sure you tell me why you love this place that you've decided to share.

I used to have pen pals from all over the world but now I'm only down to a few. I would love to have a few more. I enjoy getting note cards to use when I write to my pen pals. Nothing beats old fashioned hand written mail. Even if the post isn't what it used to be.

My interests include upcycle crafts, scrapbooking, baking and cooking, making furniture and now making home decor.

I am a pinterest addict.

Music is my passion and I listen to a wide variety of genres.

I love bold bright colors. My favorite colors are Pink and lime green. My kitchen will be lime green when I'm finished with the remodel.

I am currently working on making different kinds of furniture from recycled pallets. I'm also trying to come up with new ideas for remodeling every room in my home, as well as my landscaping outside. I'm planning my garden already for next spring and trying to decide on plants and flowers for my decor. I welcome any ideas anyone may have, especially photos.

I love my kitchen. I enjoy any type of cooking gadgets to decorative towels and wash clothes. I collect cookbooks and recipes like crazy. allergy alert I'm highly allergic to shrimp. I am a vegetarian but I cook non vegetarian food for the man and family in my life, they had me making squirrel last week. Yup you read that right, smh. I tend to make a lot of sweets to keep me busy. So aside from cooking I'm also baking constantly. My favorite foods are Ethiopian, Latin, Asian, Filipino and Italian cuisine. Now my family however prefers anything deep fried, heavy meat and tater eaters, and anything considered junk food. I'm always looking for fresh ideas, especially right now while I am thinking of opening a small family style dinner where I live (which incase I failed to mention is an EXTREMELY small town).

I love to receive things in homemade envies. And I enjoy getting ones I can use to send things off to others.

I am always interested in address labels. So for swap partners who have no idea what to send me because our interests are different and we are in a profile swap together this is always a welcomed addition for both me and my bf.

I love love love reusable shopping bags, even homemade ones!!

I love to see other people's creativity more than people sending random stuff for hearts.

I would like to receive homemade gift tags for the holiday season. And always welcome homemade cards.

I have an obsession with smells, I burn scentsy in my home constantly. I also buy from local wax tart makers at our local flea markets. It's an expensive addiction. Lol.

Things I am not interested in: unless I have joined a religious swap please keep your thoughts on religion to yourself, while I respect all religions and spiritual choices I do not like to be bombarded by others thoughts on the topic. I also will respect all of you by not bothering you with my beliefs, unless I see from your profile that your very interested in discussing things. I happen to attend a private Baptist college so I am constantly discussing religion.

I like hello kitty but I am not to into all the cutsie kid like wonderfulness that I see a lot of people enjoying on their profiles. I'm more of a classic style kinda woman with a modern twist.
