I'm slowing down on swapping, I'm back at work and right now it's a rough time for me so I need to take some of my time for me. ❤️

I am always willing to do a private swap. I love learning new crafts and sharing the crafts I already do. Please don't be afraid to ask, I would like to help others and myself increase our enjoyment of swapping, crafting and letter writing.

• I am a mother, a grandma (Nanny), a wife, a crafter, a reader, a walker, and I like spending time on the computer. GoodReads, LibraryThing, Swap-Bot, crochet pattern sites like Ravelry, ASL tutorials, how-to sites, ect.

• I am a special education paraprofessional. I work in a multi handicap classroom with severe and profound children, they range from kindergarten to 5th grade with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, treacher collins, missing chromosomes, rare disabilities, ADHA, OCD, ODD, or a combination of multiple diagnosis.

• I recycle, some craft projects have recycled, up-cycled or re-purposed parts. I also tend to re-use envelopes, and discarded books or magazines.

• I like to think of myself as crafty, but not sure how good I am compared to some of you regulars. I hope I do ok.

• I am a reader (see my bookshelf on GoodReads or LibraryThing). I am now a part of a book club at work, they have expanded my reads. I don't read as much as I use to and I am not as diligent at writing g reviews as I once was, but I still try to read everyday. Don't do much in the way of Non-Fiction, horror, religious or war related.

• Favorite authors ..... Sarah Addison Allen, Christine Feehan, Debbie Macomber, Gena Showalter, Nora Roberts, Janet Evanovich, Stephanie Meyer, Frewin Jones, Nicolas Sparks, Danielle Steel, Jacquelyn Franks, Patricia Briggs, Sabrina Jefferies, (did I mention I like to read) .... ect, ect.

• Favorite Movies .....
  Princess Bride, Stardust, Young Frankenstein, Beetlejuice, Encanto, Frozen, and more.

• Favorite TV .....
  Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Monk, Psych, CSI's, Bones, House, Doctor Who and a long-time watcher of Days of Our Lives and more.

• Favorite Games ....
  Pokemon Go (I will friend if you want to), solitaire, tetris syle games, and sometimes Mario (original)

• I am a big crafter, I enjoy .....

• RAKs (Random Acts of Kindness) many forms
• I have been trying new techniques to craft using new (to me) media and tools.

• I have 2 girls (both adults)
• I have 1 grand daughter

• I have 2 cats (both girls) My poor husband is surrounded by us girls

• I enjoy watching movies and tv

• I love to collect books and bookmarks
• I know some sign language
• I like the color blue (most all shades)
• I seem to be collecting ribbon
• I also like stationary - paper products
• I love the moon & the promise of tomorrow

• I crochet, yarn (cotton, wool or spun bamboo) any weight or color
• Stationary items will never be a miss with me, I love notes pads, pens, paper, envelopes, cards and even post it pads
• I am a reader and can always use bookmarks, store bought, hand made, collectible or basic everyday usable
• I love to learn new ways of doing things, learning a new craft or a new technique
• I like seeing things other do, handmade postcards, friendship books, anything you enjoy making I would like to see.

• I have a franken-deck of cards that I don't use, but it was fun to make.

  • I don't like Carmex lip care products
  • I don't like or wear perfume (allergic, best not any)
  • Don't like rude people. I give everyone the benefit of doubt - as long as you try to do what is expected / asked of you.

• I am a little bummed, one of my first swaps - I sent mine out, marked it sent, received mine, rated the sender, but one of the people I sent to (it was a 5 partner swap) still has not rated me. I have many others now that I still have not been rated for.

• I just want to say .....

• I will send out my swaps on time, I will never NOT send out my swap. I have been doing 'exchanges' on other sites for a long time. I know how important it is to be courteous and respectful of others.
• I will always rate within a day of receiving my swaps. I don't like waiting to know if someone got something and so I won't make anyone else wait to know if I got a swap.
• I really like this site and want to do my part to keep it going and to keep others doing it with me.

Please don't flake on me - I won't flake on you

Update, Yeah... I did finally have some come home.

*Thank you (4 friends) for the quick turn around on another RRTPC. Started this one June 2023 when we thought it might be over soon.

• Thank you (5 friends), received another RRTPC started April 2023

• Sent 4 more RRTP's home today, hope to receive more of mine soon.

I am hoping for more soon.

Still missing some of the Round Robin (1st out August 2022), Traveling book card (1st out July 2022) and Collaboration items (1st out September 2022). I have started, continued with others and sent home, I still have not seen a single 1 of mine return. Most of the fun is working with and on other people's pieces, but I would like mine to come home too. I want to see where they have gone and who all has helped to contribute to mine. If anyone has one of mine, please let me know they are still out there and moving. Thank you, Debbie

I really enjoy swapping, I am interested in a few other types of swaps but I don't know what they entail. If it would be easier I would be willing to do private swaps with anyone who is interested.
