I enjoy reading but mostly non fiction. I like travel books, biographies and inspirational/motivational best.
I'm not a movie person and rarely if ever do that. I prefer to be on the move and besides sleeping my only real sedentary exercise is reading as above. If I do watch television it's mainly sport or News/current affairs.
I love a wide variety of music so it's hard to narrow it down to a few singers or bands. Generally anything 70s will be a favourite and basically easy listening pop and rock will be suitable to listen to. If I had to choose a favourite then I'd probably go REM. I did go to a Cat Stevens concert just after he changed his name back to Cat. That was only about 6 years ago and his voice was still amazing.
I love travelling and only flew overseas for the first time in 2007. Since then I've visited Czech Republic, Nerherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Poland and Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia. I've been fortunate to have two lots of Long Service Leave both of which were spent in Europe. Yes I love travelling and can't wait to do it again. In the meantime I'm trying to see a bit more of my own country.
I love asian food and especially any form of Nasi Goreng.
I love all animals, nature, sunsets, rainbows, walking, travelling, reading, pen pals, sport (mainly watching only now). I collect stamps and postcards (used and unused), pens, bookmarks, pens, tea, coffee, confectionery etc
I collect stamps for charity and so trade all my used Australia for worldwide stamps on and off paper. These are then sent to charity where they are sold to collectors at auction. The money raised helps to pay for shipping containers to send medical supplies and equipment and sewing supplies and equipment, tools, kitchen supplies, uniforms, material, stationery and more to Tanzania where it is distributed to schools, hospitals, churches, mothers clubs etc. I've been helping for about 15 years. Stamps anywhere in the world mint or used and on or off paper are always welcome and greatly appreciated, even duplicates.
For postcards I am generally happy with whatever you send however if I had to choose then wildlife, nature, Keep Calm, quote and recipe cards are my favourite. Cat cards are always welcome and I'm happy with mint or written cards.
LIKES: stamps, postcards, candy especially chocolate, any ginger flavoured items, coffee sachets, ginger tea (others ok too), bookmarks, pens, stationery, surprises etc
DISLIKES: not much at all
I am very new and I hope to prove I'm genuine very soon. If any of my swaps do not arrive then please advise and im happy to resend promptly.
Also I'm happy to Angel any swap im in and would also consider others too so feel free to ask.
Lastly I've been a member of Postcrossing for over 7 years now and have sent 1843 cards to date. If you like getting postcards and learning about other countries then do visit and join postcrossing.com
My first postcard came from Maria in Austria and since then we've kept in touch via letters, cards, emails and text messages. I've stayed there and been shown all around beautiful Austria. Maria and Gerhard as a result of a postcard are best friends. Whilst visiting there in 2012 I was admiring the view of the lake from the boat we were on when Maria reminded me that this was exactly the same view on the card she sent me in Postcrossing. Yes that same card that caused a great friendship to develop.

It's been a while now, did you got my "Four teas in an envelope" swap?
aka @caesarpag
Sorry to see your account partially suspended. One swap's send by date is Sep 08 but you are rated a 1 by the end of the same month, they are international swaps. Wow. I hope I don't run into the same type of crowd. I know people scam and are lazy or whatnot, but almost everyone else is sincere and homest.
Welcome to Swap-bot! I enjoyed reading your profile, especially the paragraph about your friends in Austria and how that friendship began with a postcard. I collect postcards, as well, so perhaps our paths will cross in a postcard swap someday. :-)
