***** please note Canada Post is having rotating strikes and a significant backlog of post; some swaps may be delayed (oct-nov 2018) *****
I love postage stamps, art (Art Deco, Dutch masters, Impressionism, Renaissance,...) paper textures (Japanese, etc), and vintage ephemera.
I love rabbits, peacocks, and other animals; Nature art, sketches, urban sketching.
Journaling style of Jose Naranja & Seaweed Kisses;
Postcards (of historic, landmark, landscape, Art Deco/travel poster style, etc);
If sending a postcard, ideally naked/no envelope, but ok in envelope if it's because you want to send extras/goodies. Please write something about your day/why you chose the card/info about your city - postage is expensive, especially for a PC (versus a letter) so get your money's worth!!
Watercolours;
Washi - I'm addicted and always trying to diversify my stash
holograms, medieval images, ancient Egypt, Indian fabrics, jewel tones;
New to ATC but love them
New to art/junk journaling/mixed media;
Please no: - Thick ephemera. I journal in a moleskine and will incorporate swaps into my journal :)
I work in health care and started journaling as a creative/stress outlet. I work 60-75 hour weeks so journaling has become a very helpful creative release:) I am new to playing with mixed media and the different journaling styles out there. I love Pinterest and Instagram, but do find some of the beauty on there intimidating! I love travel and I think this is why I love postage stamps so much :)
Big Bang theory, Sherlock, Last week tonight (John Oliver), Late night with Stephen Colbert, Stargate, Who do you think you are?, Graham Norton, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Young Sheldon, Documentaries!!!!!
Watership Down, Great expectations, Anything Jane Austen, Stories Rabbits Tell (deMello), Mostly I read science/research journals
I crochet catnip toys for the local humane society and as a fundraiser for the local bird/wildlife sanctuary. I also make afghans for women's shelters. I have recently discovered konmari method and use smash booking/art journaling as part of the de-cluttering process. Recently I've adopted 3 foster-fail chihuahuas that I love to bits (despite always having had labs in the past). I've trained/raised 2 service dogs and provided a retirement home for a guide dog with cancer. I also work with a veteran PTSD dog service and rabbit rescue.
Creepy/gory
Orange washi (solid or geometric, it's ok if there's orange just not the predominant colour)
Food items
Teacher/reward stickers
I rate as soon as I receive a swap - it's so frustrating when you work hard on making a package and then fail to get feedback, so I do my best to rate right away.
I won't rate down without privately contacting the sender first. I think it's only fair as we work hard for our swapbot reputations and I do not want to damage that without first letting the sender have a chance to remedy a swap. That said, I am pretty flexible and easy to please. As a newbie I have appreciated people giving feedback and extending courtesies too.
I may not always respond to rating comments but please know how much they mean to me!! Thank you to anyone taking the time to comment!
I always send my swaps. I take photos to keep track. If you don't receive a package, it's not because it wasn't sent so let me know.
I love sending and receiving little extras. It's very helpful if profiles are filled out to give me some guidance on what swappers may like to receive.

Hello,
I am going to archive the WIYM: Christmas Scavenger hunt swap, I hope it did arrive and you did enjoy it, even though you haven't logged in or rated it. If, in the future, you log back in, I would love to know what you thought of this swap because I put a lot of work into it. I hope all is well with you!
Your friend, Ducky
