For my first swap, I found out about a Summer Solstice swap and wanted to participate.
I own a spiritual crystal shop that offers various types of readings and healings, I honor all the seasonal transitions.
I am a Rug Hooking fiber artist, all my rugs are posted in an album on my facebook page. I host a rug hooking meet-up group once a month in my wool studio that is attached to my crystal shop. I inspire others to create their own design instead of buying someone else.
I am a Mother of three grown children, Grandmother to two littles with another on the way, have a small herb and vegetable garden, cook every day and bake bread once a week, I do not buy bread.
I am traveling to Peru and South Dakota, USA this year and attend a yearly Women's Festival that celebrate the Divine Feminine in each of us.
I love autumn the most: the smells, the colors, the coolness mixed with a warm "Indian" summer day, as the last bit of summer holds on just a little longer. Really I like all seasons and happy I live in the northeast. I look forward to first snow, first spring flowers, first 80 degree day.
I love ALL color! I just don't wear yellow or brown. I used to always wear black, I think because I did not want to be seen but now I want to be as bright and light as I can be. I was once snickered at for wearing a dress that this person thought was "too bright", my comment back to her was a very kind "Thank You for noticing". It made my day.
I am kind of a tea purist. I like black tea. English Breakfast, Earl Grey, good ole Tetley with the tiny little tea leaves. I like to mix a flavor when making sun tea, add a peach or rasberry or even a chai to "spice" it up a bit. This is my choice for casual drinking. I also drink tea for health, a variety of chinese teas, liver-cleanse, de-tox, ginger when I'm sick, chamomile/lavender to relax. I like nettle/ rose hip/ rasberry leaf for woman support - I listen to my body for what it needs.
I used to be caffeine sensitive when I was younger so I did not drink coffee until my 40's. I'm glad a grew out of it. I love a good cup of coffee - light and sweet preferably but if it's good coffee, I drink it like tea, nothing in it. Just one a day is all I need. I do like Teechino non-coffee for when I want the coffee flavor without the caffeine in the afternoon.
As I swap more, I will share more. The swaps will help me uncover more of my likes.
