I'm a single senior gal. My best buds are my cats, an Exotic Shorthair, a Manx and a white Persian. Also my Shih Tzu dog.
I love crocheting, sewing, quilting, machine embroidery and fabric. There is always another quilt to make.
Collect Teddy bears and American Girl dolls.
Postage stamps, no damaged, please. I really would prefer US stamps from the current year used. I have several foreign pals that collect used and I swap with them. Countries collected are British Isles, Canada, Scandinavian, France, Germany, Netherlands and USA.
Topicals - bears, cats, lighthouses, turtles, and year of the Rabbit.
If you not in USA, I would be very happy if your sending included all recent stamps of your country, even if they are supposed to a variety of countries.
Please use recent stamps on your mailings, it will earn you a heart.
.
Postcards, cards with nice views, lighthouses and cats are appreciated. No ad or home made. I like to receive my postcards naked and stamped, not in an envelope.
Tea - just about any, except lemon and chamomile.
Mysteries and action, adventure.
I pretty much limit myself to sewing and machine embroidery. I love fabric, especially cottons that can be used in quilts. Batiks are great.
I send out as soon as I can. If you don't receive from me within a reasonable time, please let me know and I will resend. I try and rate the day I receive. If you have not been rated, I have not received. I would appreciate your rating, so I know you received. Thank you.

A Great Big Christmas Thank You!!!
Shirley, you are such a thoughtful person. Thank you so much for my personalized Christmas ornament. I feel so honored to get one. Also thank you for the vintage Christmas cards. Your mother was so opposite of mine. My mother hated clutter and threw everything away. I remember retrieving my teddy bear from the trash because she didn't want it anymore. thank goodness I was there when she did that. I still have him after 73 years. My father sent it to me when I was 1 when he was stationed in Italy during the war. Well, that is enough about my story. Here is wishing you and yours a wonderful 2016 Holiday Season and a 2017 Happy New Year. Thank you again dear friend, Shirley
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
