I'm 41, I live in California, born and raised and still love it, actually, I have a 14yo boy, 3 dogs that I adore, and I am lucky enough to live down the street from my parents (who will be married 45 years this year!).
I am on Pinterest daily, the internet is so much fun. I love Etsy, shopping mostly but toying with the idea of selling my jewelry, mostly because I have to buy furniture just to store everything I've made and continue to make!
I love to hand write letters. I only recently started doing this again with pen pals but it's so satisfying and really interesting what flows when you start to write, even more so than typing an email.
I love all kinds of crafts...paper, painting, coloring, doodling, upcycling, but especially making jewelry using vintage pieces. My kiddo is into art and we do lots of projects together, he is even my greatest junking partner...he has a great eye.
I love the thrill of the find at thrift stores or flea markets. It's such a great feeling to uncover a diamond in the rough, or find something that inspires me to turn it into something super cool.
I collect lots of things: vintage anything: buttons, ephemera, jewelry, scotties, poodles, cookie cutters.
I don't know much about gardening, but it recently decided to do something about what I call "the dirt pile" in our small yard. I planted a few things, so,let's see how that goes.
Upcycling and recycling anything but especially jewelry. My profile pic is just one of the many things I make with buttons! Fun earrings.

Broken jewelry...seriously....when I see a jar of broken jewelry at a flea market, I grab it so fast!! And anything fleur de lis, preferably vintage, but new is good, stickers, stamps, frames, pins, anything.
Vintage is always best..hankies, towels, embroidery samplers, tablecloths, aprons, wooden spools, metal thimbles, old clip or screw back earrings, even singles.
Fave colors: my eye is always drawn to turquoise, aqua, teal, greens, blues...I also like orange and yellow, pinks and purples are ok, but not bright colors. Metal colors...any and all.
Anything religious, Hello kitty, Cat things, Disney anything, Barbie anything, Dollar store stuff, And if you smoke in your house, please do not send things from inside your home, I will just have to throw it away.
