Hello! I'm a 3rd gen crafter... learned a lot from my grandmother. I sew, costume, make steampunk jewelry (resin, mixed metals, metal stamping, hopefully soon also soldered work.) and occasionally dress up like a zombie and work horror conventions and other zombie themed events.
I am an animal lover but highest on the list are sharks, rays, and fish. I'm an aquarium keeper for my "real" job; also a SCUBA diver (mostly for work). I'm a huge nerd... Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, LOTR, Once Upon a Time, Avengers, etc. Also love gaming (Borderlands series, FF, COD) legos and cards against humanity, and I'm a civil war reenactor. I'm kinda all over the board. :) I have a wonderful boyfriend who is into a lot of the same nerdy things as me who also likes costuming and has started trying his hand at fabrication and leatherworking. Not sure what else to say. :)

For the purpose of the swaps I guess I'll say that I love handmade items of all types but I'm partial to jewelry or functional items (keychains, trinket boxes, jewelry holders, coasters, etc.), I'm not too big on knick-knacks. My mother and I are on the same page with this... they're something else to dust and since I hate dusting, well...:) Even my cherished LOTR action figures (in boxes) are in storage!) That said though, I love victorian, steampunk, mixed media art, etc. in display pieces or wall art.
