Oh, gosh- reading your profile- my head is brimming with ideas! I can't wait to really start working on this journal! I've been a little distracted lately but I'm sure I'll finish and I'll definitely let you know if it will be sent out a tad late (which, hopefully, it won't). Heh- :)
Thank you Goth sweetie. I never had anyone angel things. I figured it was not a big enough deal to have someone else go to that trouble.
It does bother me that there are so many people who are flakers. I just figure that something has really gone wrong in their lives or famlies and I need to have mercy.. That is why I don't rate them.. But it is SURE nice to get that package in the mail and see so many wonderful things.
I can't wait to see what you create. I love all those things you mentioned, but I suck at college. something in my brain messes up when I try my hand at that. LOLOL it's a disaster.

I love making origami too. I have to admit though I don't know many patterns. No my baby boy he is a king at making just about anything. I love oragami Being a boy he is into the dragons and such... but he did make me a very beautiful lotus after I threatened him... He is twelve. I never thought of using mag. pages... thanks for the tip on that.
I think the best folks in the world are upcyclers. They make the coolest stuff.

I'll admit, Sharpies are the shiz-nite, hahaha. I'm your partner for the Hand Made Book Marks swap, so I dropped by to glance through your profile before making your bookmark. I too love to "upcycle" things...particularly magazines and junk mail, lol. I love making collages, bookmarks, and origami from colorful junk mail or magazine ads. :-) And I'm ALWAYS doing something with my hands.
I'm sorry to hear you've been burned three times already....I haven't been yet, though I have been late sending some things and have received some things rather late. Admittedly, though, everything I've received late has been just fantastic, so I guess I'm lucky on that! Personally, when I host swaps, I always offer to "angel" in case anyone gets burned. I do have some extras lying around from a few swaps I've made things for, if you send me a PM of what you never got and I have something of the sort, I'd be glad to angel for you. :-)
