My name is Harjyot and I'm 18. I'm in college, studying Psychology and I'd like to be a criminal psychologist and graphic designer, taking art to another step. Freelancing and making fandom-related things, along with crafts and such, though I can't do much- just basic embroidery and knitting. I have always enjoyed drawing and painting and other craft stuff, I use acrylics and water colours, I'm learning how to use soft pastels. Oil pastels will be next :)

I like alternative rock, indie and all types of music, basically except very loud music and screamo.

My taste in music is unusual to say the least, usually has things from a vast variety of genres.

Cat power, Fun, We Were Evergreen, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Weepies, Two Door Cinema Club, Andrew Belle, Katie Herzig, Trent Dabbs, Incubus, All American Rejects, Owlcity (Adam is hilarious and your argument in invalid), Florence and The Machine, Ed Sheeran (He's an angel, alright?) A little bit of mumford and sons, a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I guess that's all I can think about right now.

The Fault in our Stars, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Hunger Games, Looking for Alaska, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Death Note: LABB, lots and lots of fanfiction, The Help, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Sir ACD's Sherlock Holmes, The Maze Runner, Before I Die, and a lot of psychology books. This list is probably endless. Currently reading: Insurgent (Veronica Roth) And A song of ice and fire. (G.R.R.M.)

Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Merlin, How I met your Mother, Dexter, Friends, occasionally watch anime (Death note being my favourite) , a lot of British Entertainment, some cartoons and such.

Started watching Firefly and The Hour.

I paint and sketch a lot, also like making things and I learn origami when I have free time! I also like cloth arts and I recently started painting on canvas.

I like making envelopes. Specially, anything that has a theme and would make others happy.

I LOVE different kinds of paper and pencils. Almost addicted. And clearbags! It's almost impossible to go to a shop and not buy those things. I also like pretty envelopes and cut of shapes from assorted paper.

I love postcards! :D I do not have many in my collection as of now, but I'm hoping to collect around 100 by the end of this year. Postcards I would like: Black and White. Handmade on thick sturdy paper. Ones with statues of angels/gargoyles. Old palaces. Sea/ Ocean. People/ Street photography. Bright colourful scenes Autumn or Spring themed postcards Anything that tells me something about your city or state.

I would love to hear something about you, how your day was or anything of that sort in your letters and postcards, if you think we have something in common or you want to swap postcards or letters with me, please do not hesitate!

My favourite colour is probably turquoise, purple or any shade of blue. :D I also like black and lemon yellow!

There isn't any colour that I dislike particularly, so anything that is colourful is nice!

I like letters written in coloured ink or in black ink on coloured paper. I like glitter too but not lots of it. And tiny paper stars or hearts! Any kind of doodling is lovely. :D

Since I live in India, it might take somewhere between a week to a month and half for the letters to deliver. I wish it would get faster and it's honestly surprising when they reach within a week or so. I would appreciate it if you be a little patient as it's not in my hands once I have sent them out.
