I am a thirty-something mother of rowdy 11 year old twin boys and a too-big-for-her-britches 7 year old little girl. While they may be the source of my constantly frazzled nerves, they are most definitely the glue that holds me together. I am a dog groomer and have just recently opened my own business. I'm still in the beginning stages and cannot be more excited about it! It is proving to be quite an adventure! I don't come from a real big family; however, I am very close to the family I do have. My dad and sisters are my best friends. I don't know where I would be without them.

The Beatles...handsdown!!! I don't remember ever not loving the boys from Liverpool, as my mom made sure from a very early age that love and appreciation for the Fab Four ran deep in my veins. It's because of her that legends like Eric Clapton and Tom Petty are on my top 10 list, as well as Simon and Garfunkel, The Doors, Pink Floyd, and The Stones. And I can't forget Boston, Queen, Three Dog Night, and Aerosmith. I could go on and on. Classic rock laid the foundation for my love of music. As for the 80s and 90s...those are the decades I grew up in and the music of my generation, I have a completely different attachment to the tunes of that era, albeit just as strong...Micheal Jackson, New Kids on the Block, Bon Jovi, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Bush, Tool, Tupac, Biggy, Bone Thugz, UGK, Sublime, Manson, Zombie, The Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews...the list is endless... :-)

I love making tie dye shirts with the kids and creating things with duct tape. I enjoy scrapbooking, even though I can never seem to complete a project that I start. Concocting homemade beauty products is always a good time too! I like putting together cute goody bags of knick-knacks for friends. And I like to collect things, anything really; however, I am really hoping to grow my stamp and postcard collections, as well as my foreign currency and coin collections, and my trading card and comic book collections, as these seem to be the things my kids really get into as well. (Oh yeah, and my Beatles collection!)

I love to travel. Road trips are my favorite thing in the world. I haven't been to very many places, but I have a wish list that I have major plans for one day and I'm constantly adding to it. I love to hike and see the things that most people don't ever get to see. I have a serious wanderlust in my soul. I would love to receive postcards, pictures, or any other type of cultural memento from all 50 states and around the world...and maybe even some info on all the wonderful hiking and backpacking trails that are just waiting for me to come take them on!

And big foot is real...I'm going to meet him one day :-)
