Hello everyone! My name is Sofia, I'm 24 and live in a mid-size city in Ohio with my husband.

I love the outdoors, traveling and learning about foreign cultures and languages. So far I've visited 10 countries. I speak English and Finnish and would love to learn Italian. Some of my dearest hobbies are hiking, beach-combing, running, crafts and pen palling. I've been writing letters for about 8 years now. I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes.

I don't watch TV often but I do enjoy documentaries, my childhood favorite The Moomins, and British detective series such as Midsomer Murders, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple

My favorite film genres are adventure and thriller. Movies I've recently enjoyed are Jaws, Knowing and Mystic River.

I usually read travel stories and classic detective novels. My favorite authors are Agatha Christie and Bill Bryson

I enjoy knitting, sewing, drawing/painting and making paper crafts (origamis, envelopes and decorated letters, pocket letters, handmade journals, scrapbooking.) I love washi tape and use it in a lot of my projects.

I also like to make my own home decor. lately I've been into making dream catchers and remodeling old furniture.
