Hi. I'm Nicole. I am a small town Australian girl who got swept off her feet by a Swedish boy. I now live in edgy Stockholm soaking in the busy city life.

I am a full time English Teacher at an international school. So no surprises, I love books, paper, magazines and stationary. My favourite magazine is Flow.

I am not an official illustrator but wish deep in my heart that I was. It is a life dream to one day illustrate a children's story. I draw to relax and switch off from the daily grind of life. It is my escape.

The sound of rain on a tin roof. Jumping over big waves. Watching from a cafe window drinking a decent Flat White. A fine liner pen that flows smoothly. Pretty magazines filled with inspiring people and things. Chatting with people who get excited by the things I do. Dreaming dreams with friends whilst walking through big parks. Fika. Pretty paper - florals, pastels, polka dots, simple, clear cut. Brush lettering. Old fashioned post. Clean sheets. Dancing like a loser with people who are equally as bad but laugh their guts out. Laughter that makes your insides hurt.

That's a lot of things. There are so many more so I guess I'll update this from time to time.

I really love the idea that someone has spent the time putting pretty things in an envelope and sent them to me. So to be honest I'll start by saying I'm not fussed.

My favourite illustrators are Quentin Blake and Axel Scheffler. I love their style and simplicity.
