Hello there! I'm Jiwon, a 27-year-old girl from South Korea.

My English is not fluent but I can communicate with it. I can only speak Korean, English and a little bit of Chinese at this moment but I'd love to learn more if possible.

I'm currently into tea. I collect tea bags(wrappers) and tea tags(labels) I'm not a crazy collector of stamps, but I still enjoy seeing/getting beautiful ones.

I collect Be@rbrick and I have 4 Ball-jointed dolls. I have been interested in bjd since 2002.

I also love taking photos, traveling, singing.

I used to have Canon 550d to shoot pictures but I sold it. I'm going to upgrade my camera body.

I lived in the State 6 years ago to study English. It was only about a year but I had really great time there. I traveled China several times; my dad had worked in China for 5 years so I could have lots of chances to visit there. Except those two countries, other trips were all domestic ones.

I'm a baseball fan, I root for my home team, NC DINOS. (There is pro-baseball league in South Korea.) Sometimes I go to the stadium and enjoy watching the game.

Postcrossing is my recent hobby. I joined this world only three months ago. :)

When I was young I used to gaze at the world map in my room. My parents bought me a huge world map with flags on it. Sometimes I matched flags with the countries and also tried to memories the capital cities from each country. At that time, I didn't really expect I could communicate people from those countries. It was really hard to meet any foreign people here in my city too. So it was my dream to meet and communicate people from all over the world.

Now, thanks to the Internet, I can easily talk with them and even exchange something here. How awesome!

I don't have special taste on music; I listen to pop, rock, hiphop, jazz, new age, classical music... basically anything. I especially like the kpop group called BTS. I also listen Korean indie songs.

I love to listen to songs from overseas too; in different languages. Sometimes I don't understand lyrics but I can still enjoy melodies and singer's voice. And also, every language is so beautiful and I believe every language has some special spirit in it.

• Different languages! (If you are a non-English speaker, could you write something in your language? You can simply write lyrics of the song or phrases from the book... It doesn't need to be wonderful calligraphy, just normal handwriting is totally fine to me!)

• Knitting yarn (I don't know how to knit)
• Japanese anime/Manga (except Sailor moon and Pokemon)
• Licorice flavored (empty tea bags are fine!)

The biggest reason why I joined this website is to swap tea bags. (I'm a newbie here, so please check my Instagram link to see my previous tea swaps!)

I prefer black tea, Assam-based or Ceylon-based tea; both straight and flavored tea. My favorites are English breakfast (I basically like every somewhere-breakfast tea) and Earl grey.

Fruit, Honey, Vanilla flavored black tea and Dessert-like tea (Such as muffin/pie/cake) are always welcomed. I also love green tea, white tea, Oolong, Pu-erh, Jasmine, etc. I'm not a picky person at all. I want to try new teas from all over the world, so you can put ANY KINDS of tea for me!

As I already wrote, I collect tea wrappers and tags. So please don't stick tea bags :'(

I would say black tea is not really popular in South Korea. Green tea is more popular than black one like other East Asian countries.

But the majority is grain tea I guess, most Korean drink barley tea, corn tea and corn silk tea; they often take the place of drinking water. At home, we usually use real roasted barley or corn but individual tea bags are also commonly sold here. Brown rice tea, Solomon's seal tea and buckwheat tea are also quite popular here. All of them are caffeine-free, of course.

Flower-based infusions are considered more like "Tea" in Korea (We think grain teas are "water", haha) I can find chrysanthemum tea and dandelion tea at any market in Korea.

When I do the tea swap here, I'll prepare teas from Korean brands. (Grain, green, herbal and black tea)

Since black tea is not really popular in Korea, there are not many Korean brands which produce black tea. I try to give you tea bags from Korean national brand. But if I can't, I'm going to choose some brand which can be easily found here. (Heladiv, Twinings, Ahmad tea, Akbar...and so on)

I know every country has Twinings tea but each country has different package design so it might be also fun to get them...

I'm going to check my partner's profile carefully and try my best to find best tea bags for them :)

I prefer written & stamped postcard. I'd love to read about anything about you; yourself, your country, your town and so on.

If your native language is not English, could you write something in your language? That would make me happy!
