I am an accountant and I live in a small town east of Houston, TX. We are building our house, so I am always looking for new decorating tips. When we moved to Dayton, we decided to build our house ourselves as we have the money. We lived in our camper until we had enough of the house completed so that it was liveable. Needless to say it was quite a challenge--but we made it. I have two children a 23 yr old (son) who has a really great wife and my one and only grandaughter, and what we think is a new baby boy on the way; and a 17 yr old(daughter). I love animals--doesn't matter what--I love them all. We have cats, birds (cockateils and keets), dogs, horses, and a mule. I guess you could say I have a strange sense of humor--my wedding anniversary is on April Fools Day.

I love music--gospel, country, blues, rock, you name it I just about like it. Most favorites are: Toby Keith Al Green (gospel) Big and Rich Aerosmith ACDC

I love to read. I have started listening to audio books in the last couple of years because of my commute to work. I love Janet Evanovich and listen to her books every chance I get. I also love true crime. Most favorites are: Janet Evanovich-Stephanie Plum Series Jane Peart--Brides of Montclair Series Stephen King

I have a few favorites--probably most favorite is Moon Over Parador and Let it Ride both with Richard Dryfus. I also like Lone Star State of Mind--it is a very funny movie.

I have been trying to teach myself to do some quilting. In my normal style of doing things my way--I am sort of making it up as I go along. I also like to decorate stuff with buttons, cross stitch, and use alot of scraps of ribbon to change the look of stuff.

We have horses also--alot of horses--I think last count was 11--the last one sort of came as a surpise. I have a paint mare that we thought had lost her baby last year when she hurt her leg. She never even look pregnant--on April 8th here she came with baby in tow. A beautiful colored paint filly--another surpise since her baby from last year was solid in color and the dad is a Thoroughbred known for most of his babies looking like him.
