About Me

I'm a 56 year old English granma living in Alaska (last 20 years) married to a retired GI and he's now retired from working for the Alaska State in corrections...and I really AM enjoying him being at home!! All our children are now grown, married, and with children. We love the grandchildren!! I don't mean to grow old...even if my body disagrees!

Favorite Movies

Gone With the Wind, Lord of the Rings (trilogy), Pirates of the Caribbean (trilogy), Silence of the Lambs (and sequels), most anything historial - all the Queen Elizabeth I movies and anything like them!

Favorite Television

the CSIs (except the Miami one), Forensic files, Notorious,Who's line is it anyway (English version), Shark, Criminal Minds, Last Trace, Jericho (now cancelled ..sob...but wait...they've bought it back - yeah!!), and lots more!

Favorite Crafts

Anything with paper!!!! Eg. cards, atcs, journals. I don't scrapbook...but do use a lot of the same supplies! Paper Making (not from scratch with lye etc though!), Knitting, crochet, sewing, gardening..is that a craft??

Favorite colors and flowers

My fav colors are greens, blues, purples but am getting into more earthy tones lately as well. My fav flowers are freesias...but I do just love any flowers!!

Thanks for the lovely comments; I had such fun doing this ATC. I'm glad to know I'm not the only "sicko" out there re: paper. Some of the stuff I sent you has to have been in my stash for the last 20 years or so; I'm so glad swapping came along--it both fuels and uses my obsession! My mother would be so proud...craft on!
