I'm just a young fun loving mom who lives with my husband and our handsome little guy who joined us last year. I grew up in an art-friendly lakeside town, and have always wanted to experience new parts of the world. I love collecting interesting things. When I say things, it is the most specific I can be. If it catches your eye or makes you wonder, I'm all about it.

Always the funniest question to ask. Music is undefinable in my opinion, but I enjoy Metric, Bob Marley, Beatles, Bright Eyes, Ani, Pink Floyd, Pixies, and Radiohead, to name a few. Anything with a solid beat, creative instrumentals, or better yet the two combined.

Anne Rice, biographies of historical figures, stories that you can get lost in for days. Fiction, mystery, some non-fiction, involving any point in history.

Moulin Rouge, Black dahlia, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Elephant, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, Requiem for Dream. Anything involving real art and skill.

Lost, V, Stargate SGU, How I Met Your Mother, The L Word, Battlestar Galactica, Divine Design, Futurama. Other than these, I don't watch television at all.

Art, painting, collages, written word, random cds, handmade jewellry, photography, fabric items, scarves, pretty much anything made by hand with thought and care. All crafts are wonderful expressions of individualism. Scrapbooking, journals, stationary.

I'm interested in anything intriguing. I know that's vague, but I'm leaving room open for people to have fun with it. Basically I joined swap-bot because I love the idea of all of us trading items that catch our eye or we think would be interesting to another human being. I like things that are different from what you would be able to find in everyday life, or just anything that has a story to it. I love chocolate, as well.

Close-mindedness, flaky people, overly girly items, dogs, bugs. I have no allergies, but am sensitive to acidic foods and sweets.

I am an earth sign. My colors are green, blue, red, and anything warm. I love bright colors, pastels, and muddy tones too.

I DO NOT like pink, or any shade of purple or red that looks more pink than it does purple or red.
