I am a 40 year old stay at home mom. I love to write, I love the outdoors (particularly in warm weather) and am fairly easygoing and open minded. I am happily married and love my children and my dog and cat.

I have a quirky sense of humor, and when I have time I love to talk religion, politics, and philosophy, so long as you can respectfully disagree with me.

I think it not only takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to make it through life at all. No man is an island...although sometimes I would like to be...but only sometimes.

I am a terrible housekeeper, but I am oddly fairly organized. I think my OCD forces me to organize things. For my sister-in-law's birthday I organized her kitchen...with labels. Enuff said.40

I like just about everything, but no gangster rap crap. My favorite is 70's classic rock though.

I love Stephen King, have a HUGE collection of his books, but like to read religion, philosophy, humor, biographies, satires, politics, and parenting books.

"How to Make an American Quilt," "Say Anything," "American History X," "The Bourne Identity," "Curious George," "The Breakfast Club," "Charlie Wilson's War," "The Stand," and "Serendipity."

My current favorite is "Burn Notice." I also thoroughly enjoy "Law and Order: SVU," "My Name Is Earl," and "The Office."

I'm not very crafty. Sometimes like to. Just haven't really tried much...I've done some scrapbooking and I made the center pieces at my wedding and my college roommate's wedding.
