Hello!

My family and I live in Tuscumbia, Alabama. It's a small town, but nice. It's the birthplace of Helen Keller. Each June they have a festival in her honor, and perform the play, "The Miracle Worker."

I like to collect postcards from all over. It's my way of "traveling" to interesting places. :-)

I especially like scenic postcards and those that show local attractions. Landscapes, city/town/village scenes, interesting buildings and funny or odd postcards are some of my favorites.

I also like learning about famous or well-known people from the area.

It's fun to get mail that's not a bill! :-)

My favorite TV show has to be "The Big Bang Theory." It's the one show I watch where I have complete control of the remote from the beginning to the end! No flipping through commercials on this one. :-)

Of course, reruns of "The Gilmore Girls" is a favorite, too.

I also enjoying watching old detective shows, including "Monk," "Columbo" and even some "Murder, She Wrote."
