About Me

I am 33 years old, I live in the UK and I love making things! I am a keen crafter....I love papercrafts, making cards, sewing, jewellery making, candle making....I'll give anything crafty a go! I also love cooking up a storm in the kitchen, I particularly love baking sweet things and bread, but I'm enjoy all kinds of cooking. You can see lots of photos of my cakes on my blog.

I am a Brownie Leader (they call me Squirrel), I love running (but not further than 10K due to bad knees), I read cheesy romantic comedies (I love a happy ending), I'm quite addicted to magazines and cheesy pop music too!

I also love all things vintage, I collect teacups and vintage clothing. Just learning how to do vinatge inspired hair and make up. I love going to afternoon teas with my friends.

I love to laugh....I talk a lot...I probably don't act my age...but I can be sensible when I need to be.

Favorite Crafts

My blog showcases all the cards I make....plus a lot of the cakes I bake!

I am a member of several Design Teams, providing inspiration for various card making challenges.

I'm good at girlie cards....anything pretty, pink and sparkly! I love digi images and stamps, but also love creating things out of paper. If you give me a photo of your car or your pet I can try and recreate it out of paper on a card!

I also love sewing, but I'm not as good at that. I've made a dress so far, but haven't worn it in public yet! I also love creating things in felt.

Things I love....

Thought I'd also share a few of my favourite things....in no particular order....

the colour purple (any shade...I also love pink too) coffee (although I'm not allowed to drink very much anymore!!) cupcakes (who am I kidding - all cakes!) anything glittery hand cream (I suffer from dry hands) books - real books...I'm not a kindle fan! anything cute cocktails afternoon tea chocolate vintage teacups trying new things laughing the beach..and the sea writing letters drifting (the motorsport) make up blogging singing loudly (badly!)

There's probably a lot more that I could add to this list, but I don't want to bore you!

Bad manners (manners cost nothing) Licorice mushrooms (its the texture) Action films (I will watch them, but they are not my favourite!) Cotton wool (it makes my skin go funny!) People who don't listen (I suppose that comes under bad manners though)

Hmmm....I might add to this list over time, but thats some of the things I'm not so keen on!
