Whimsicality

Hey, I came across this site and love the idea of swapping things so I decided to join. I'm creative but I usually need inspiration first so a site like this is perfect. I enjoy art, writing, and performing and I think I'm at least "okay" in them. The more I swap the more I'll become confident.

Although I'm openminded and would love anything just because someone else made it I have to admit I do like unique and interesting but that doesn't always mean complicated- sometimes less is more :)

I'm going to have to look at other people's profiles to see what they write here because its very hard to think up stuff!

I might be a newbie but I promise to always send because I hate letting people down and in something like this its inexcusable because of all the the effort someone else has made. I was let down on a online Christmas card swap on a different site and I was really upset because I worked hard on mine.

I love foreign films, whether it's Japanese anime like "Spirited Away" and "My Neighbour Totoro" or Spanish "Pan's Labrinth" and I prefer watching them subtitled rather than dubbed.

I love films that are fantasy and slightly unreal and I the only horror film I've ever enjoyed was "Sweeney Todd". I also loved "Memoirs of a Geisha"

Disney films were (are) a huge part of my life and my favourites have to be "Alice in Wonderland" and "Beauty and the Beast".

I really enjoyed "Little Miss Sunshine" the characters were amazing and the dialogue funny, as well as films like that I enjoy films made by independent film companies like "Napoleon Dynamite".

Favourite genre has to be fantasy. Best series I have read for a while was the Mortal Engines by Philip Reeve. If you haven't read them I seriously recomend them. I've been an avid reader all my life and read almost anything I get my hands on. The only book I haven't been able to finish was the Lord of the Rings. Considering it's my favourite genre I have no idea why I don't like it.

I hate to admit it but I do enjoy a good soppy romance novel, it's just something to cheer me up because they can be a bit ridiculous.

I'll put my hand to anything but I prefer writing or drawing. Collages or ATC's as well. I can hand sew but I'm not to good with a machine so I don't do anything big like clothes but I do make small stuffed objects. I'm a bit of a hoarder who saves everything single thing to use one day.

I can listen to anything except PROG rock or something, electroniccy things. I don't mind trying anything so if theirs a song that you love I'd be willing to listen to it. I like rock, classical, really any type.

These are UK sizes as I'm unsure on the others. I'm size 8/10 smaller on top, my feet are size 4/5 and I loveeee socks especially long stripy ones.

Sweets like love hearts or cherry drops but not chocolate, tea or coffee. Hair slides/clips. Note/scrap/sketch books (empty or filled). Hand/body lotion. cookies! Small bracelets, I have lots but I like different ones rather than lots of the same. Material or ribbons or buttons. Keyrings from different locations. Recipes for desserts. Funny or truthful lists. Colours I like are : pinky Red, rich purple, dark turquoise, Emerald. Just deep colours and what ever you think would complement them. I love colour whether it's bright or not.
