Painting, photography, calligraphy. I also love creating things with many layers that have an interesting feel to them. I am very attracted to textures.

Some Like it Hot, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Office Space, Stranger than Fiction, The Shining, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, Being John Malcovich, and anything with Marilyn Monroe.

I love love love books. I try to read as much as I can, and will read anything and everything, but more than that I just love being surrounded by books. I'm currently on a Jon Krakauer kick. I just finished Into Thin Air, Under the Banner of Heaven and Into the Wild. Good stuff.

I very much dislike writing about myself, but for some reason love doing self portraits. Go figure. But anyway, here I go.

I live in Los Angeles, CA and currently work editing videos for a website but would love to work for a gallery or a museum in the future.

My favorite things:

gelato, the flea market, dogs, pumpkin pie, Egypt, red and green (but not together!), getting things in the mail, city life, rearranging the furniture in my house, laundry, coffee, freshly sharpened pencils, a good book and a comfortable chair, paper products, vintage jewelry, pink animals, gardenias, shoes, airplanes, climbing trees, Vienna, wine, bicycles, my mom.
