I'm a graphic designer by day, artist superhero by night. I like all things odd (and Ood), including zombies, Play-Doh, puzzles, action figures, comics, sci-fi, knitting stalks of celery and very long, striped scarves (in case you can't tell, I'm a Doctor Who fan), and reading Charles De Lint books.
I'm a music junkie (over 1,500 cds and still buying!) and a movie junkie.
I love all animals (except spiders and ticks) and I do NOT like clowns.
James, Divine Comedy, Slaid Cleaves, the Cure, the Red Elvises, Cruxshadows, Voltaire, Depeche Mode, New Order, the Beatles, Buddy Holly, Loreena McKennitt, Dead Can Dance...
I worked in a record shop for 8 years and I like pretty much everything EXCEPT rap and r&b. I'm always looking for new tunes and new artists to explore.
Anything by Charles De Lint, David Sedaris, or Bill Bryson. I'm currently on a Patricia Briggs kick -- her Mercy series is for werewolves what Lestat was for vampires.
Six String Samurai, Gladiator, 300 (mmmm, David Wenham and Gerard Butler with very little clothing on throughout the whole movie... who can argue with that?), Finding Nemo, Lady in the Water, 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead.
I love all things sci-fi, fantasy, horror, animated, strange, art-house, whacky or just plain weird. I don't go for comedies like Wedding Crashers or What Happens in Vegas because they're a little on the vapid side. I'm also not very into chick flicks, because of the formulaic 2-hour love affair where everything ends perfectly.
And I'm of the opinion that zombies can make ANY movie better, no matter what the genre.
Doctor Who (but I absolutely HATE Torchwood for some reason), Millennium, Mythbusters, The Riches, Brimstone, Futurama, the Simpsons, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Quantum Leap, CSI and CSI: Miami, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Top Gear, How Clean is Your House?, the Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits, Full Metal Alchemist (that's the ONLY anime series I like), X-Files, the Lone Gunmen
Knitting, drawing and painting, photography (fodder for digital mixed media), ATCs, rubber stamping, jewelry-making, recycling ordinary things into the extraordinary.
Tea. Mostly spiced teas, but I've developed a fondness for chocolate tea recently.
Funky yarn. I'm not allowed to be left alone in a yarn store. My stash takes up a LARGE laundry hamper, and it's still growing, full of dark jewel tones and all sorts of soft textures.
Candy. I love dark chocolate, jelly babies, and sugary powdery things (like Pixi Stix). Twizzlers go over well with me, too, and I've never met a gummi bear I didn't like.
Beads. Except the plastic variety because my cat will eat those.
Cats. I have three of them. I don't want anymore. In fact, anyone out there want to take two of them off my hands?
Dogs. I absolutely love Great Pyrenees. They're gentle giants, and the best watch dogs in the world. I own one, and will own many more when I have enough room to keep them all one day.
Native American art and culture. I'm part Cherokee, and lived in the American Southwest for years. I'm especially fond of creation stories, and Crow tales.
Comic books. Whoever said there are no more great master artists out there never saw Alex Ross' work on Kingdom Come, or Travis Charest painted work in Wildcats.
Action Figures. I collect McFarlane figures because they're ooky-spooky. I play with other action figures because it makes my coworkers uncomfortable to have a little Master Chief soldier pointing a plastic gun at them.
World of Warcraft. I am hopelessly addicted to this ridiculous game. I play both horde and alliance, but I'm partial to Taurens and Blood Elves.
Candles. I LOVE LOVE LOVE candles of all kinds.
Incense. I love incense even more than candles. I like the musky, spicy scents more than flowery kinds, but any incense is good incense.
Blank books and altered journals. I have just as many blank books as I do books to read. I keep telling myself that maybe one day I'll write something really worthwhile in them, but they're just too pretty to simply WRITE in. I must decorate them all before I die. I may need help with that part, though. :)

Welcome to Fallen Angels. I hope that it's a group you'll enjoy being part of.
And....
I am so jealous! You have a GP! Our place is too small for a chihuaua (I hope that is right, i never know when to stop lol). They are great dogs though, like you say. Okies this is turing into a ramble, but creation stories rock. I love the crow stories and how make your co-workers nervous lol and a bit of zombie never did anyone any harm. Lastly, I just need to upgrade my pile of junk computer so that I can play WOW. I think i'm defo a horde guy though. 'Laters :]
