I love anything concerning rubberstamping, polymer clay and general mixed media, with a tendency to the surrealistic and vintagy. I am open to all kinds of crafts and also have tried out the digital world. It´s incredible what one can make with gimp - even though my knowledge is pretty basic and therefore digital art takes me ages.
My daughter and I love Gillmore girls - don´t know how many times we have watched all parts. Not not mention the sarcastic Dr. House. Man, has he blue eyes!
I am a single educating mom living in the outskirts of Munich, Germany. During the day I work as a controller and at nights I become a passionate crafter. After school, with studying and everything I had lost track of my art, but since I have restarted in 2009 it has become an important part of my life. I try to teach myself new technics by watching youtube or reading a lot of crafting books.
If you want to see some of my art you can visit me at flickr (artwolf 2009).
I used to be kind of a bookworm but crafting does not leave me with too much time for reading. Due to my daughter I started to read a lof of children books, and of course I loved to read with her Harry Potter and books from Cornelia Funke, like her triology with ink heart. I read the twilight books in a week and I also love books like the kight runner (even though it was very tough sometimes).
I do not like criminal stories too much, there´s already enough killing out there so I do not want to read more of that.
I love everything vintage and I think I even love more paper die-cuts I can include in some of my work. I love paper flowers and almost everything from the embellishments of Tim Holtz, even though it´s quite expensive here in Germany. I try to get old clockparts from the juwelee shop in my village, highly inspired by steampunk.
I really love to swap and put quite a lot of work into the stuff I am sending out. Unfortunately it seems some people don´t do the same. I do not mind beginners who have really tried, but let´s be honest one sees the difference between something that was done from a beginner with lots of effort and something that was only loveless glued together or even worse with only stickers and some borders. In the last case I am going to vote a 3 because I think it is quite unfair.
I am going to take a leave for a while from swap-bot, returning my attention to flickr where you can visit me if you are interested. I really love the idea of swapping, but I prefer to see what I get beforehand. I have gotten some wonderful things here, but that has been the minority. So goodbye and if you are interested in trading with me, flickrmail me.
