Talk about a daunting task...I have to sit still and write something about myself?!? What makes me happy? Why do I head to the art room? Why do I go to the flea market to find that treasure to reconstruct? repurpose? recycle? I am a mom, wife, teacher, athletic trainer and fitness freak! My dog and I are a Delta Pet Partner therapy team...we visit patients in the hospital as well as read with children. I am certified reiki level 1 as well. I am also a certified laughter yoga instructor..hahahaha! I do have an etsy store front...but haven't had anything in it for awhile. I plan to start adding some items soon! I think I am getting the hang of swap-bot?!? The ratings...the types of things to send/swap...so far, I have had some really nice gals to swap with...and have given me some great ideas..thanks!

I like almost anything. I finally got into country after I became a mom...not sure why, but I get it now. Elvis rocks! -I bought a ukulele awhile ago...I hope to learn to play it some day :)

I read non-fiction.
Usually about anatomy, physiology, pathology... holistic health; art books. I find it difficult to just sit and read, unless, I can walk away with new knowledge or skill.

Again.. not one to sit and watch a movie or tv. You will find me DOING...doing an art / craft project. Doing a lesson plan...Doing a party plan...organizing an event... but I have a weakness for old Elvis movies or the beach movies with Franky and Annette :)

-I want to start ATCs..just not sure where to begin, but working on it! -Anything beachy...heh...I'm a northcoast Lake Erie gal.
-Mermaids (vintage/funky, NO creepy or dark) -I have a fairy garden...love making garden art! -I am into making bottle cap beads...super fun. I pound the heck out of bottle caps, then collage on them...very funky! Always looking for mini things to collage on them. -collage on all sorts of surfaces -Decoupage and glue guns are my weapons of reconstruction! -jewelry -glitter -wrist cuffs (I really like making art I can wear...conversation starters!) -my pinterest page is loaded with crafts/ art i plan to do soon! -I enjoy deconstructing/reconstructing items(clothing to kitchen) from rummage sales/thrift stores/flea market

-Silk sari ribbons.. love, love, love -Beach glass is always a hit, or whatever is unique to where you live.
-Fairy garden stuff (English style fairies) -collage supplies -looking for tissue paper with small graphics/print on it -jewelry making supplies i.e. charms, etc. -Mermaid (vintage/funky only) -Looking for patterned tissue paper -Handmade surprises -flea market finds are always fun -old anatomy and physiolgy; medical / nursing books; old flower jewelry; -old cashmere sweaters -trying to find a little laughing buda check out my etsy favs

Not to be picky...and I am always open to explore new things...but there are some, I just am not into... -no country stuff -no teddy bears...or any stuffed animals! -nothing kiddy, cute-zee stuff -no creepy; scary; goth; steampunky -no commerial items / brand (disney; kawii; etc) -only non-brand stickers (i.e.disney; etc.)

I started an art group of gals who meet 3 -4 times a year. We exchange ideas, have cocktails and snacks, and challenge ourselves to try new things. Having fun!
