My name is Courtney. I'm 34. I enjoy correspondence of any kind, but most of all, I love handwritten letters. I have several fountain pens, and lots of inks.

I graduated from Ball State University with a BFA in drawing and a minor in History (medievalism). I love drawing and watercolors, but hate hate hate oils.

I enjoy reenacting, less of the Civil War kind, and more of the SCA 1350s kind. I'm involved with all kinds of crafts, from making period rosaries (just for show; I'm Buddhist) to designing and sewing period clothing, to spinning, knitting, dying, and weaving my own yarn.

I love to read. Mostly Sci-Fi and fantasy, but historical fiction, literature and biographies rank pretty high, too. I enjoy music of the indie persuasion, including (but not limited to) Mirah, Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap, Owl City, Iron and Wine, and Tom McRae.

As an artist, I love all colors, but my favorites are pink, wine-red, charcoal, and lavender. I'm also fond of periwinkle blue. If i had to pick, I'd say that yellow is my least favorite color, but only because it looks terrible on me.

I can't drink coffee, but I love love love teas. Earl Grey is my favorite, along with other herbal and floral flavors (rosemary, lavender, rose, etc), and spicy chai. I am not a huge fan of fruity teas (except citrus), berry teas, rooibos, or anything cinnamon.
