I'm an elementary school teacher in Canada and have one son...who is 10! I absolutely love all forms of art and take time to "play" as much as possible! I love quilting, knitting, painting, Smash Book/Junk Journalling, mixed media, ATC's, doll-making...you name it! My new pursuit...repurposed jewelry!

I LOVE technology! I'm a self-proclaimed Mac addict! Love all things Apple! It's been so fun incorporating new tech into my classroom...the kiddos and I are learning together, which suits me just fine!

I love crafting art dolls, watercolour, working with coloured pencils and I'm dipping into mixed media creations as well.

I've been a knitter, quilter, painter, you name it...I'll try it :)

When I do have time for tv, I generally watch series on Netflix. I'm currently enjoying Weeds, Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men, Breaking Bad...that sort of thing. I'm really interested in complex characters and studies of our society.

I LOVE a good cup tea and Starbucks :) I'm also a fan of sampling red wines and foods from around the world. My favourite meal of ALL time is dim sum. So, keeping that in mind, any dim sum related items are always appreciated :)

When I'm not catching up on professional reading (it seems to be never ending!), I have a eclectic mix of novels on my bedside table. Anything from biographies to true crime to best sellers...it really depends on my mood! Nothing beats a great home decor or art magazine!

Canada Post is notoriously slow and can be expensive so please let me know if there is a problem with anything you should have received from me! With international packages, sending air mail is VERY expensive- sending surface is often the only reasonable way for me. With this, delivery times are unpredictable-from 10 days to 14 weeks. Keeping this in mind, I will always try to send time-sensitive swaps earlier. Sorry to those who have been inconvenienced and thank you for your patience.

I try to rate as soon as I receive but If I have not rated you, I would appreciate a reminder as well. Life is busy (for everyone!!!), so I may send close to the deadline date but I promise I will NEVER flake.

I hate paying Canada Post more than necessary so try to eliminate extra packaging. I would rather include extra useful stuff than cardboard!

I'm a huge '80's fan....Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Erasure, you name it! I'm not a fan a country, although the occasional Toby Keith song might pop up on a shuffle list! My iTunes library is a good mix of Christian to punk to classical to good old rock and roll. I'm not a fan of dance music, although I will listen to it with my son :)
