Hi! I'm Evie. I'm 27 and I love crafting.

I grew up in Berkeley, California and now live in Tokyo with my boyfriend, Omar. We have two dogs that had to stay behind when we moved, but we hope to bring them over soon.

Snooty (smallish border-collie mix of very un-border-collie-like coloring) and Beans (tiny yorkie, she's 5.6 lbs)

I love traveling and have lived in England and China during college, and Japan during high school.

I like to listen to enka sometimes when I cook dinner.

I enjoy cooking and baking, Especially lemon desserts. I like making felt mascots and crocheting amigurumi.

I have conducted many experiments with embroidery. I am getting into making zakka and have been making my own rubber stamps for use on fabric and paper projects. I also just got a Print Gocco and I'm now dreaming up projects for that.

I want to make a sweater for my yorkie, but I'm not the best of knitters. I'm sure it will happen eventually, I'm just kind of excellent at procrastinating.

To be honest... I love Star Wars.

I love dogs and bunnies. I am also a big fan of pigs and mice.

I like muted colors, pastels, and earth tones. However, depending on the situation, most colors are fine.

Scratchy, plain wool is not my fave, but I use all kinds: multi-colored, solid color, animal fiber, synthetic, etc. I love bulky yarns as well!

I LOVE Relax Bear (Rilakkuma). I do like Sanrio stuff, especially tiny Sanrio perfumes. I like the Smorkin' Labbits (Kidrobot) and Tokidoki Moofia Minion milk figurines (my collection is still missing Choco, Leche, Rice, Strawberry, and Half&Half. I also like the Tokidoki Cactus Pups. I would definitely not mind receiving more of any series, even if they are still sealed in the blind box.

I enjoy little Kawaii things, handmade and store bought. I also like food with faces and animals with mustaches. Now that I think about it, food with mustaches sounds good, too. I collect Re-ment/Megahouse miniatures.

I just got a Blythe Doll, so clothes for her would be nice!

I like animals wearing Victorian clothing and Victorian illustrations of animals, especially bunnies.

I really like Hard Candy nail polish. It was discontinued (why???) and I didn't have a chance to stock up (boo).

I love Tarte eau de toilette, but I spilled mine and now it's been discontinued. If you ever find any, send it my way and I will love you FOREVER.

I love experimenting with skincare products and perfumes (mostly clean and citrusy scents). My favorite brands are Kiehl's, Fresh, Bliss, and Burt's Bees. I love the Harajuku Lovers line of fragrances except for Baby.

I like cream puffs from Beard Papa and Swedish Fish. I hate caraway seeds and spiders. I can't wear green eyeshadow. Seriously. It makes me look like a zombie. I don't eat pork, but my boyfriend LOVES it. Although I like both lotion and perfume, I can't handle perfumed lotion (like DKNY, Dior, etc). It triggers my allergies for some reason. I love looking through Etsy listings for new handmade goodness.

My boyfriend likes bacon, things with bacon in it, graffiti murals, ferrets, Totoro, Kid Robot blind box toys, vinyl records, Poppy Z. Brite, and True Crime novels set in California.

My boyfriend makes fun of me for this, but I have already made sure that our family has a clearly thought out plan to protect us against the very real threat of zombie invasion. The virus spreads quickly, we should all be prepared.

UK - When I was living in London I used to get this shredded crunchy seaweed topping that was kind of sweet with all my Chinese and Thai food. It was sooooo good with noodles. But since I returned to the states I have not been able to find it ANYWHERE, including China and Japan. If you know what I'm talking about (??? Am I crazy? Did I make this food item up?), then send me some and end my torture! It will result in hearts for sure!

CHINA - I love Hoe Hin White Flower Embrocation and Haw flakes (yum!). Also anything that is special in your area.

Japan - I love Yuskin cream, any Japanese craft/embroidery magazines like Cotton Friend or Cotton & Paint (used is fine!), specific guidebooks in Japanese or English (like sweets or bakery guides) to any area of Japan, especially Tokyo and Tochigi, Mimeru jewelry, Polico brooches, Cotolie Yuka stuff, and anything that is special to your area!

Any Other Countries - I am pretty happy with most anything I get that is unique to countries other than the US! I love to try new snacks and things, so if there is anything special from your country you'd like to send me, go for it!
