I love crafting, especially crochet. I knit some, but not quickly, therefore not much. I make small things, mostly, because I do not have much patience for large items. :D I did complete an afghan one time and am still very proud of it; working on it helped me quit smoking. I am currently working on crochet quilts, a neat concept of "quilts" made of many tiny crocheted granny squares. I need some motivation to finish these!!! I adore yarn and believe one can never have enough! Cotton & plain ole acrylic are my current favorites. Someday, I will knit an appropriate pair of socks. Someday. Paper and glue are also loads of fun! I love all things miniaturized and also painting ceramics and wooden items.

I also love to read. I'll read just about anything, but I do prefer fiction, especially mysteries. I love legal and medical mysteries/thrillers. I also enjoy books crafting (sewing, quilting, papercrafts, knitting, crochet) and cookbooks.

My favorite television shows are Law & Order and CSI Las Vegas. I also like Doctor Who, Dirty Jobs, Jon & Kate + 8, Family Guy. I can be found watching the travel channel, discovery health channel, sci fi, food network, bravo, baseball games, movies......

I love music of all kinds. My ipod has everything from Elton John to Eminem! I am partial to 90's music... brings back good times! I love Matthew Good, Gavin DeGraw, Maroon 5, Train, Sheryl Crow, 10,000 Maniacs, REM, Shakira, Rob Thomas, Death Cab for Cutie, Santana, Kelly Clarkson, The Tragically Hip, Fiona Apple and so many more!

I prefer whole bean, but ground is also fine. I like any flavor, except nut flavored coffees (I am allergic to nuts). I also love unflavored coffee (those with African origins are usually my favorites). Caffeine please, no decaf for me! I may sound like somewhat of a coffee snob, but please don't be afraid to send to me... I'll adore receiving anything you send!

I love love love tea. The only kind I dislike is green tea. Strange, but true. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be darjeeling. I also like most flavored black, decaf black, earl grey, lady grey and "breakfast" type teas. I do not enjoy caramel or nut flavored teas (I'm allergic to nuts). Again, I'm not terribly picky. If you send something I don't like, I will be happy to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it. Thank you!!
