i hate to start with this but feel i need to-- PLEASE DO NOT send me ANYTHING SCENTED. i am allergic to possibly everything known to man. also, when one scented thing is put in an envelope, it makes everything else in the envelope smell the same. i hate to see people's time and efforts wasted, especially when there is someone out there who loves scented products. that someone is not me.**

i am a crafter, animal lover, lifelong vegetarian. i live in new york city but dream of moving to california, or georgia; somewhere else where it is warm and the people are a lot less intense. one day i plan on retiring somewhere that operates only on island time- hawaii, the carribean, a small coastal island off somewhere very warn and breezy. i suppose i live my life on island time, which is why the swaps i send out go out on the last day. but they go out!!

i try to be pretty easy going (despite my mother's effort to make me neurotic) and am so happy to receive packages in the mail! i don't judge what is in them because i know we all try our best and i am grateful for everything that is sent my way!! in the last few years my allergies have gotten worse and worse- from none to everything. please don't send me anything scented, even residually- as much as i love it, i'll have to put it in my swap box. :)

i love country music, and almost everything except punk, alt, heavy rap or metal. the kind of jazz where it sounds like everyone is doing their own very different thing makes me want to pull my hair out, but i like the jazz that woody allen uses at the end of his movies.

i am a huge fan of paperback swap.com and will read anything. well, not the harlequin romances, but i really enjoyed the twilight series which was romanc-ey. if it looks interesting, i will give it a go. my favorite authors are anne lamott, bill bryson, & john sandford.

i watch way more than i should. i love ugly betty & glee, hbo and showtime series, i survived and mtv true life. the shows i watch changes, but i tend to stick with comedy and true life stuff. i dream of a day tv won't interest me. i will always love buffy the vampire slayer and felicity.

i am a cardmaker, rubber stamper, scrapbooker, jewelry maker (both semi precious and not), knitter, semi sewer, baker and cake decorator. i love making things!! the way some people worship shoes and purses, i worship craft stores, sites & blogs.

i love love love etsy, and could wander around there for hours!!

greens, blues, browns, light and dark. pink... i like all colors in the right combination!! i like silver, not gold.

i am hippie/earthy and wear jeans and t shirts. design wise i like mod, natural, retro, hippie, clean lines and not so much french provincial.

i love buttons and embellies, and felt. brads, eyelets, ribbon. and patterned paper. beads. prima flowers. i love to rubber stamp. i love my cuttlebug and embossed papers and die cuts.

a huge item on my wish list is copic markers, one day i will get some.

i really would love more man/guy type papers and embellies. i seem to struggle when it's time to make those cards. basically anything papercrafty or scrapbooky i will love.

i love anything japanese: kirigami paper with the same, the erasers, the packaging, the candies, i love all of it! i especially love the packaging where the english translation is slightly off. i love all animals, but not bugs so much.

belief wise, i am very open and spiritual. i believe in god and tend towards zen and buddhism.

if you are sending tea, please stick with green or chamomile. i am not a fruity or heavy herbed tea person-- the herby healing teas are too spiced for me.

please don't send - hoilday themed items (except halloween.) individual teeny stickers- sticker sheets i can handle but individual stickers i just lose or the cats chew on. post its or paper pads. i have enough, thank you! anything around gift giving- wrapping paper, pre printed labels, tags, the like.

we have 6 cats, (we had 2 and rescued a stray who had 3 kittens and we kept the whole family), so if you have any allergies, and i need to be super duper careful about stray cat hair, please let me know.

i won't send you anything scented, ever. sorry!
