I've been away from Swap-bot for a while and will update my information.

My name is Dee and I live in the northeast US. Married 56 years, I'm a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. :)

We live near the ocean and bay and enjoy visiting the beach to just "watch the water" or walk the boardwalk. I can't imagine living anywhere else.

I love animals and we have several beautiful indoor-only cats.

POSTCARDS

I prefer cards that go through the mail with writing and stamps and all the marks and dings on the card from traveling through the mail.

I'm a member of postcrossing and am enjoying the postcards I receive as well as choosing postcards to send to others.

I like all cards that people send, but when pressed to list favorites, I go with: cards from where you live as well as scenic, animals (especially cats), ocean/beach, lighthouses, boats, unusual or interesting places, poems and legends and humorous.

CAT ITEMS

I enjoy items that have cats on them, such as calendars, notepads, stickers, bookmarks, figurines etc.

STICKERS

I really never intended to "collect" stickers, but I've accumulated so many different kinds, it's hard not to call it a collection. :) I use stickers for trades, handmade greeting cards and other paper projects. I like animal stickers, flowers & Hello Kitty - just about all kinds. I really like dimensional stickers of all kinds.

PAPER CRAFTS!

I like rubber stamping, paper crafting & card making. My vision has been declining though and I've started to de-stash a lot of my supplies.

Swap-Bot is always presenting me with new and interesting things! :)

Reading: When I get in a reading mood, I like mystery, detective, forensic type books and like authors like James Patterson, Janet Evanovitch, Tess Gerritsen, John Sandford & Patricia Cornwell. I belong to Goodreads. I don't read as much as I like because of my vision but I do have a Kindle and can read books with that.

Music: I like most kinds of music, mainly 50s/60s rock 'n roll & country.

Can always use: postcards, notecards, notepads

Also enjoy items that feature: cats, birds, flowers, seashore, nature, scenes.

Enjoy vintage, retro, and ocean/beach anything.

I like magazines that deal with cooking, paper crafts, rubber stamps, card making, scrap booking.

I love handmade items of all kinds.

I'm a tea drinker and enjoy trying different teas.

Favorite holiday is Christmas. Favorite season, autumn... love autumn colors.

I have no objections to used items in good condition, I shop Goodwill and yard sales myself.

Note: I have no allergies, and don't dislike any particular scent or color or style.

No sweets please, I'm diabetic and I try to stay away from sugar when I can and a lot of artificial sweeteners don't agree with me.
