I LOVE the outdoors-backpacking, biking, rafting, gardening, and traveling. I have a steel trap for funky factoids and historic tidbits and I long for adventures and road trips-just dreaming about them is exciting!

I really like spicy ethnic foods and learning more about different countries, people, their languages, dress and music. I crave chocolate-Good kinds (with nuts, berries, or peanut butter), not Palmer or Russell Stovers. Yuck! I also like hot drinks- especially cocoa, tea (iced or hot) and chai, particularly vanilla.

I enjoy wandering thru local Farmers Market-all the homemade arts and crafts, flowers, soaps, breads, and organic produce. I also enjoy photography, playing with musical instruments, reading, and Scottish Country dancing. One day I would LOVE to play an instrument with the knowledge, grace and style it deserves, sing beautifully :), and speak another language.

I adore and horde dainty necklaces/pendants, dangly earrings, henna tattoos, butterflies, lighthouse related items, candles, foreign coins, notecards, shells, beach glass, pottery mugs, kalidescopes and childrens books.

My favorite colors are purple, green, and blue. My favorite flower is the Lupine.

All the Jane Austen based films, Family Stone, Little Women, Songcatcher, Mostly Martha (German flick), Chocolat, Kinky Boots, and Casino Royale. I don't mind subtitles and find films produced outside of Hollywood refreshing, so please recommend any endearing, inspiring, or just plain loverly titles.

Farscape (my all time fav), Stargate SG-1, Macguyver, and Amazing Race. I've also enjoyed a bit of Trading Spaces, Psych, Chuck and assorted PBS shows. I don't have cable, so most of what I watch on TV is via Netflix or Itunes and my husband is a Sci-Fi kinda guy! :)

I like scrapbooking, but I'm a snob for Creative Memories. I also like to mosaic, knit and eventually I'd like to felt bags and quilt. I also enjoy a bit of calligraphy, beading, stamping and card making. I would love to learn how to watercolor, sketch people and scenary and paint a mural.
