Scrapbooking Beading Learning about new ones as I participate in swaps so any items or advice you have for me I would love it! Zentangles

I am a mother of two boys (12 and 10) so I live in a house full of men! I teach part time at the local community college in the basic skills department. I teach US History, Exploring the Holocaust, World Religions, Civics and a study skills class.

I enjoy scrapbooking and beading.I am always interested in learning new and easy crafts as well. Currently I am playing with polymer clay but I am not much of a sculptor!

I love to read most anything.

Twice a year I go to the beach with the girls for a scrapbooking weekend although I don't scrap anymore, it is just too much trouble to haul all of my stuff, so I keep it in my scrap room and do it at home. I just go to have a great time!!! Drink lots of coffee and wine (depending on the time of day!) and laugh until I hurt!

Currently I am working on a scrapbook of the trip we took to Italy....slow going! And many other projects as I swap more!!!

My husband is also an educator, we are fans of the ECU Pirates as well as Alumni (several times!). I am also an avid Democrat and I don't argue politics with anyone, it gets me no where!

I think my favorite things to do are laughing and napping! And hanging out with my family!!

As I have been swapping I have decided that I want to learn more! Any help in making altered matchbooks, ATC's and envelopes would be great. I am sure there will be more as the swapping continues!

I am also trying to learn how to do amigurumi. My son is crazy about Sak Boy from Little Big Planet and he found a book "Crobots" in which you learn how to make amigurumi robots.....any help would be appreciated!!!!! Poor fellow, he thinks I am going to get one made in a night and I cant even get it started!!!!!

Have decided to learn how to needle felt as well. I'll let you know how it goes :)
