I've always loved most kinds of art, and 'tried' most of them. I've worked as a graphic designer (the old fashioned pencil, paper paint type, not pc) Sign writer, then changed direction and did a Beauty Therapy course, which included make up. Loved the Theatrical side and eventually went into teaching at colleges. Moved to Spain from UK for 6 yrs (then back!) Started teaching again, in my spare time I started making cards etc. Not working at the moment as I have a frozen shoulder, but getting better. Anyway, I've just recently become interested in ATC's. WOW, some fab work in them, oh and I used to make life size babies out of clay, and 6 inch fairies too. I take aLOT of pride in any work I do, and hope my swap partner does the same.I make sure it's something I'm so proud of that I want to keep it! Please put effort into the work you do. I know everyone's artistic ability differs, but I can see who has tried and made a real effort .........and the ones who just stick something on a peice of flimsy paper and call it finished
Easy reading, not that I read much, rather be 'doing' something. Love Sophie Kinsella books, craft mags , favourite being Craft Stamper, and the Somerset ones
