Cozy mysteries, mysteries featuring clergy protagonists, some paranormal elements. Authors, for example: Julia Spencer-Fleming, Phil Rickman, G.M. Malliet, Cara Black . . .
I also like some fantasy novels, such as Jim Butcher's.
Then there are the classics: Jane Austen and Arthur Conan Doyle are particular favorites, and who doesn't love Mark Twain?
Those with a happy ending! I love ensemble casts, as in "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel". Hate violent movies, bloody movies, movies with excessive bad language.
Adore "the classics" like Casablanca, GWTW, Key Largo . . .
PBS, mostly. Masterpiece Theatre (Masterpiece Mystery . . . LOVE Inspector Lewis particularly, and of course Sherlock). Really a big BBC fan. Still ROTFL over "Are You Being Served," "Keeping Up Appearances," and "The Vicar of Dibley."
Other than those, really enjoy the following guilty pleasures: Warehouse 13, Eureka before its demise, and The Amazing Race, for the fabulous locations I'll never visit.
Altered books and scrapbooking. Paper crafts in general.
If swapping supplies, I can always use alphabets--chipboard, stick-on, doesn't matter. Unused postcards are always welcome.
TEA and all things related to tea: tea pots, tea cozies, tea strainers, tea cups, recipes for tea parties . . . you get the idea. My favorite teas are black, very favorite is Darjeeling, love Earl Grey and its variations as well, like citrusy teas, just don't care for vanilla flavoring in teas.
JANE AUSTEN and all things related to the English Regency. I belong to the Jane Austen Society of North America.
SHERLOCK HOLMES--I have always loved Conan Doyle's stories and am so happy to see the revived interest in the character, although don't really love some of the formats. I belong to the John Openshaw Society, a local scion of the Baker Street Irregulars.
Can you tell I'm an Anglophile?
